Lima area was a bit down last year...I don't think it is looking up this year either.

Those are very likely, but..
Let's not forget Keith Lenhart who seemed to improve in track this year, I believe even beating his brother occasionally. In a conference led by juniors, next year should be exciting!
Ley ran sprints in track this year, but knowing her, she will bounce back and develop her endurance once again. However, I anticipate a closer race than last year between her and Chappel-dick, with Courtney Perrott and Alexa Brown pushing each other not far behind.
Team wise, I'd bet money that you're correct.

Good point. I forgot how well he did as a freshman. Well, we'll see as the year progresses!
Still, Spencerville and Grove are always leading the pack! Bluffton's Matt Herron, Allen East's Caleb Burkey, Spencerville's Kevin Lenhart will all be gone.. Too bad, because it was fun to watch them race. This should be a stronger year for the girls, however.

Will you at least tell us if you are refering to boys or girls and individuals or teams?
&.. predictions for 2nd place teams? Spencerville for guys and Bluffton for girls? Bluffton only lost one senior from their varsity roster, but will Guagenti run due to her injury of last year?

agreed! So what meets is everyone excited for? Allen County is always fun to see who's strong enough to push through the hills.. and the Tiffin Carnival always shows great times for that point in the season!

Yea and the music they blast as the leader comes onto the track is exciting. I wish more courses had music playing to break up the monotony of some of the courses. Grove is also cool because it reminds the runners of their track competitiveness!

me too. I felt like the lima area was a little under represented last year. For girls, LB made it (though they're more findlay), but not many other area teams did. Shayla Siefker and Jessica Doepker made it individually, but no one from the NWC that I can think of..

Right, I was referring to the girls, but the boys did very well from nwc! Hopefully they can keep representing in '11!
2 months until the meets start- a lot can happen in 7 weeks! Cross Country often comes down to who worked hardest over the summer. You can almost never get far without serious summer mileage, so this is such an important time!
