McComb beat Calvert in week one 39-7. McComb has a 6-4 QB, and according to the Courier they have an O-line that avgs 5-11 241 pounds. The preview also lists their starting WRs and RBs as seniors. Everyone is talking about graduation hitting McComb hard, but they always seem to reload. Alge finds a way to win.
Liberty-Benton beat a good Wynford team week one 17-3. LB's line play was excellent; those kids were nice size and atheletic. LB also sports a big QB at around 6-5. The defense was very impressive, but timing seem to be an issue on the offense side.
What's your thoughts on this week two clash?

Second place will probablybe a 8-2 or 9-1 team, not a 6-4 team

Gotcha, not sure why I initially took that post as agreement with Hunt4em's post. My bad.
And yeah Tiger, Rocketcorner seems to be dying down as the years go on. I remember the good ol' days where there would be 5 pages on this already and most of it would be Flounder and Bluejay just talking crap lol. Believe it or not, I miss those days.

McComb's kicking game is awful. I wouldn't be surprised if they line up for two the rest of the year. All they do is squib on kickoffs too.

Both teams have great traditions, but for many of the kids on the field tonight, this will be their first "showdown" type game. Who steps up? Who will be able to move the ball most consistently, running and passing, who becomes one dimentional? How does the kicking game and field position affect this game? Does depth and conditioning have a factor tonight, we'll find out in about 5 hours.
