I'm with you on this one Mysterio. When he gets a few beers in him he starts babbling.

He would have been talking 7-12 because he said there's only 1 coach in the entire junior high programs that has been there longer than 1 year. If my memory is correct the junior high programs would include volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys track, and girls track.

Any truth that 1 coach left on his own free will to go to a lesser job at another school because he got tired of the parents?

Donít we all though? Lmao

To be honest I havenít heard that. So thatís a good question. I canít think of anyone recently that left and went to a lesser job. I mean if that is true then I would say thatís more on that person not the parents. I mean you are always gonna have conflict with parents in my opinion no matter where you go. Even the nicest coaches or the best coaches deal with that. I guess what I am saying is nobody generally leaves a coaching job because of the parents and if they do they are not made out for coaching in my opinion. Plus sometimes the truth gets bent when a coach leaves so Iím not saying your friend is wrong on the reason but sometimes you never know what gets out.

But ya youth coaches seem to come and go even when the varsity coaches are there for a while. Ya you could include soccer if you want but that doesnít really go through the school and usually you just have parents coaching down there. So ya as far as I can remember only a few coaches were asked not to come back. Everyone else just left on their own terms which is why I never understood the criticism. But oh well.

Went out with a good friend from Ottoville this weekend and he named off 11 new coaches. He even thought he may have missed 1 or 2. All of this within a year. Wow. I thought we had it bad but that is ridiculous.

11? What is your ďfriendĒ including all the youth and assistant coaches or something? Generally how it works is if you get a new head coach they bring in someone they want. And those youth coaches and some assistant coaches are voluntary so .. I donít even know what the big deal is. Coaches in all high school sports come and go. Mostly on their own terms so why does anyone even care?

Sterio......

There are times when it is a reflection of the community, but sometimes it is that certain group of fans that all communities have.....I know that myself as a fan would never blame the players.......the players want that win more than anybody.......I have also seen some real bone head moves by coaches that defy logic, so there is always enough blame to pass around if people want to!!!!!!!!!

I get that and agree with you there. Iím just taking about if a couple fans are acting one way that it doesnít define the entire community as a whole is what I am saying. To me it just speaks volume of that person.

I think flounder once said it was a reflection of the community. What I can tell you is that last year the current junior parents blamed the seniors for the loss. Immediately after the Hiland shocker I went over to see a friend of mine and 10 feet away a group of people were blaming the seniors. My friend looked at me and said 2 words, sophomore parents.

Honestly thatís not what I was thinking. Flounder always thinks itís a reflection of that community. Lmao. Itís not the community. Donít get me wrong some parents can be very wacky. But thatís everywhere. It doesnít define the community becsuse itís a common thing.

Yep and don't you forget it. I'll called out OV guards well before anyone else ... and they lost by 16 when their big went out ....

Any team that loses their best player especially one thatís going to college to play ball will take a step back. Especially when it happens in the state championship game. Thatís tough to overcome. Either way my point was you didnít buy into them yet they made it state. You claim I said I didnít buy into Hicksville which I never said that, but even if I did, they didnít even make to regionals. So you wanna come barking at me saying I donít have a clue when clearly the one who doesnít have a clue is you. Clearly you misinterpreted what I said.
