P-G's top hitter will be out against Grove, he is also the closer on the mound. He ran over Kalida's cather, P-G is not deep enough to loose any players. P-G FJ and Cont. at the bottom of the PCL

I'm going to say half the teams will be at the bottom and the other half will not.

Mother nature is leading the PCL right now unfortunately.

After checking the standings it looks like Miller City is the only team in the league with a winning record. Statistically it looks like Continental still has a shot!

After listening to my favorite relative from Continental talk baseball for an hour I'm saying next year the league standings will not change. My Pirates at the bottom again and Miller City at the top. We may have a shot at beating Ottoville or even Ft. Jennings but I'm not counting on it. Kalida and Grove could play the spoiler. Pandora holding steady in the middle of the pack with Leipsic ahead of FJ, Ottoville, and Continental.

Don't matter how you do in league anyway. Just ask MC tonite. I considered this a fairly big upset as Grove knocks off MC in 11 innings 4-3 in district semis against MC's 1-2 pitchers.

Heck of a game tonight, had a ball calling it.

Amazing MC had the bases loaded twice and got nothing out of it.....kudos to Grove for the win.

Jackson Lammers had 12 k's for MC, even 7 in a row at one point.

FJ in the 4th spot or P-G, P-G beat FJ, Ott, Con,Leipsic. Think that puts them ahead of FJ, if it really matters.

Ottoville pushed Tony C. out after he reached the 200 win milestone in favor of a local guy, Wannemacher.....not sure of his first name.
I sure hope that the Ottoville Administration/School Board didn't think that a new coach would bring wins. When a coach is replaced more times than not it's because someone thinks they should have gotten a little bit further in tournament and have a few more wins. It can't be because the level of talent has dropped.

These two teams played 20 innings in two games this year and both scored 10 runs. I would say they are fairly evenly matched.

Maybe so for 2 games as I think MC has trouble with grove this year as teams do, but overall Mc has much deeper hitting (1-9) and overall top pitchers once Grove gets past Verhoff. Jones has been effective in tourney but doesn't really have great stuff. MC plays other competition better and also beat PH this year against their #1. How did grove do vs. there #2? So by your theory since you and Kalida tied for 2nd in league you to are equally matched. I think not. I give credit to CG in tourney play as they got job done but MC gave you those extra innings to beat them, they just didn't execute. All in all Grove had a good year but will probably be down a little next year.

Congratulations to Josh Verhoff of CG on his selection of 1st team All-Ohio, also to Ross Lehman of MC on 2nd team All-Ohio. Terry Dockery III of Continental, was also named Honorable Mention All-Ohio. Congrats again to all three athletes!
