Warren G., we have a different view on whether a BOE member should be talking.......this is how America has worked for the last 100 years or more.........they used to call them "un-named sources"......
......and you sir, are a true gentleman and a scholar... :)

I think Doc Holliday said something like this in 'Tombstone'- I am neither a gentleman nor a scholar.

Doesn't matter if Frye is in the union or not...all supplemental contracts must be negotiated by the union and approved by the supt. and school board. Don't get me started on unions!

Now...if they are hiring him for an "administrative" position...that does not have to be negotiated by the union :pickles: . ..but it also has nothing to do with football.

Regulators...mount up!

Okay- so the football job at SM pays a few thousand dollars. Maybe 5k.

The 'administrative' job... which will be non-union is going to pay 12 to 15 times that and won't have a darn thing to do with union negotiations.

It's a sweet gig if you can get it.

I am surprised how quickly the Wapak fans have turned on Frye.........love/hate relationship in a hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate everything Frye did for Wapak but when you put on the blue and gold of St. Marys dead to the Redskin Nation.

I believe most Wapak fans are glad for what he did, but from what everyone has told me they are glad to see him go mainly because his lies and just not being a man for what he thinks he is. He has lied not only to the administration, but also the kids which makes him a little weak link. Also, from talking to past members of St. Mary's they said Frye was the problem to the old Superintendent. Doesn't surprise me from a community that only cares about football and not making their kids better in life. No wonder everyone calls them lake rats and can't pass a school levy. What a trash of a community they have over there.

For everyone saying it was going to be one of his boy's it looks to officially be Doug tonight. If the rumors are true for him to get things going then turn it over to Bo it looks like he's giving them 3 years. At least according to the contract he signed for virtual academy instructor.

It also looks like the return of Frye to SM is causing his Nazi regime to grab a few soccer players who went from football to soccer when things went sour. If you follow any soccer in the WBL, St. Mary's won the WBL for the first time in their 20+ years in the league not to mention they were 1 game away from going to state semifinals. Now that he's back in Rider country, he and his players will do whatever it takes to get those soccer players out of shin guards and into shoulder pads.

It will be interesting to see how Frye and Hegemeir co-exist as football- basketball coaches at St. Marys. I know the Wapak hoops program was somewhat trending upward until Frye showed up and has been average to below the past 4 years and has looked to hit bottom this year.

St. Mary's basketball has been average recently, which is a step up from where they were before Dan Hegmeir.

Hegmeir is a good coach but has no basketball talent to work with, St Mary's has been awful in basketball for a while.

To bring this thread to a end Frye is leaving Wapak for St. Marys.
