It's Shawnee athletics, i don't think anyone can predict what they will do next. It's certainly not the Shawnee that it used to be.

While Frank Crea did a nice job getting Shawnee out of the basement and back toward respectability, I think Mike Cramer is the obvious choice to take Shawnee to the next level.

Who is Mike Cramer? I hear his name a lot but have no idea who he is. My pick would be the young offensive coordinator from Van Wert or young defensive coordinator from Wapak

I'm sure Shawnee will reach out to Coach Cramer but I am not sure he would take the position.

This is a non-starter. Coach Cramer is far beyond trying to resurrect this dumpster fire that is Shawnee athletics. They kinda remind me of the Cleveland Browns. Never satisfied. All of their athletes go to LCC leaving them with the spoils. There will be a job for Coach later, this is not the one. My guess is a former Shawnee product, Hershey who is currently at the home of the PG Rockets.

Is Mike Cramer even a real person? No way PG’s coach leaves for that dumpster fire in Shawnee

Yes, he's real.... Yes he would leave. Our football coaches in the last 20 odd years have probably avg. 2.5 years at the helm. Not exactly a rousing ovation. I fully expect him to apply

If you combine Carey Arthur's multiple stints as HC his tenure probably exceeds 2.5 years. if Hershey leaves maybe the rockets can recycle Coach Arthur, or Jim King. There is precedent here as the basketball coach is currently in his 3rd go around.

So Hershey is a canadiate, who else? Not sure Shawnee can compete next year with great coaches in the league like Speller, Moyer and Fyre in the league whoever it is.

Shawnee PR department has reached out to multiple candidates already.......this might even be a worse job than the Browns. They have been unable to get anyone to apply...it looks like right now they'll be forced to take an assistant coach from the NWCC, PCL, or the like. Coach Cramer has turned down the opportunity to interview I've been told. They might have to take a page out of their old playbook and get someone a "Cush" job at the refinery or something similar.......

Who has Shawnee reaches out too? Again if this Mike Cramer guy is so good why isn’t he landing jobs?

Did someone really say Speller as a great coach? I'm sorry but that's hilarious in every way!!! He got fortunate and was handed good athletes that are all gone after this year. He's not a good coach by any means and the number of players playing show that. He continues to have players quit because of how he acts in the offseason.

The same reason that Bill Cowher, Jimmy Johnson, and others aren't coaching. Once you have ascended to the top of the coaching ranks, it's tough to consider. Would Cowher consider the patriots or Cowboys head jobs? Certainly. Would Cramer consider the liberty Benton or Macomb head jobs ? Of course!

Okay that is terrible analogy. Mike Cramer is may be a good high school coach but there are a lot of guys that are good and been in the game. I have been watching Lima Land football for 25+ years and I have seen good and bad. However, to say Tim Goodwin is not the reason for the success at Marion Local and Mike Cramer is then you do not hear or see Mike Cramer in 10+ years is dumb. I am so unsure of the love affair with Mike Cramer. Here is an analogy sounds like Mike Cramer is a lot more Jon Gurden. Decent head coach that is living off legacy and not actual production.
