Just wondering if there’s a team out there that strikes anyone as a dangerous surprise team coming up here in the tournament? Someone who could get hot and make a run. Any candidates?

I've been very sold on Miller City. I think they are the one team that could be the big surprise coming out of the L-B district. They played P-G very well the first time around and almost had beat them. They have proven they can beat Kalida. So Miller City coming out of L-B would be considered a Cinderella, I wouldn't be completely surprised if they made it to BG.

Wapak

Prince, a couple weeks ago, I'd have agreed....but after scoring 50 pts in a loss to Kenton (OG just put 101 on them)....42 in a 2 point win over Celina and 45 in a win over a not very good Defiance team, I just don't see the 'Skins getting far. I still think if anyone is gonna surprise, it's gonna be Van Wert....but I guess we'll know soon enough

True but I think Wapak will get past their first two opponents and will meet Elida again. They already beat them once and I see it happening again.

D4 appears to be wide open in NW Ohio & agreed that MC has been playing well of late. DSJ's regular season schedule preps them for a tourney run, although Crestview appears to be hitting their stride. Grove knocking off North Baltimore in the sectionals would be deemed an upset based on seeding, so add Grove to the Cinderella contenders. I would expect an all-PCL L-B district final. Over at Paulding, neither Ayersville or Hicksville got any seeding love, having to play each other (29 combined wins) for the right to face DSJ...if either team plays with a chip on their shoulder, perhaps they could make a run?

ernie.......you're right, based on seed alone, Grove beating NB would be an upset.....but I don't think anyone here would be surprised.....heck, I would expect that if people were forced to put $$$$ on it that most people would put their money on the Dogs

I think USV is a definite Cinderella in the tournament. I know they pounded on is it Pandora Gilboa, but it was in Alger/McGuffey and if you know nothing about that area then join the crowd. The officiating that night was horrible. The RAMS could have beat anyone that might. People were so excited after that win that some thought it would be the highlight of the year next to the Coon Trials over in Kenton or the annual turkey shoot in McGuffey. Anyway, I pick Upper Sciota Balley as my Cinderella team. I wish that Crestview bunch was headed our way for district. All I ever hear is Crestview Crestview They put their gym shorts on the same as the Rams. Just my 2 cents worth.

I think the same can be said about Ottoville and FJ. Both combined for 28-29 wins as well. Difference here is winner faces a red hot Crestview team. A lot of 15+ win teams in this district that could make a run.
No object is mysterious. The mystery is your eye.

I wish the rams from USV were in that tournament. They hav 15 wins and beet the tar out of that Pandora term. You no that team that has only 1 loss. That loss to the rams. I no you all are afrade of Crestview but they never beet Pandora and our defence shut down Hard on Norther to 19 points. That’s 19 points the hole game. Not many terms could do that

Your an idiot. PG lost by 3 to usv and that was during Christmas break. I bet if they played again PG would win by double digits. Hardin Northern sucks. Stop bringing that team up and think it's a quality win...

Miller City almost gave one away last night. Although I would not take Grove lightly. They are playing decent ball right now and could make a nice run in the tourney.

And they are young. They will probably be contending with Kalida for the PCL next year.

The PCL is on a bit of an upswing starting next season. It will come down to Kalida, Columbus Grove and Ottoville each of the next 3 years.
