Well I would say Arlington doesn't have a game closer than 20 until regional semifinals, unless Ottoville gets upset at some point before then. Ottoville on the other hand a little tougher road though but like I said could get upset if they catch a team thats hot.

Seem to remember reading all these great posts about how tough Ottoville was last year and then they stubbed their toe early. Sometimes being quiet and floating under the radar is a better way to go.

Being #1 on Rocketcorner carries significant weight on teams....don't discount that when tourneys start. DSJ could give O'ville fits considering they will most likely have to play each other 2x in 3 weeks. Always tough to play a conference opponent 2x IMO.

Thoughts on who else might be a team to upset O'ville prior to Regional?

Maybe Jefferson. I don't see Kalida or Crestview being able to do it.

I don't think they stubbed their toe. They were just beaten by a better team. Considering Ottoville was young last year I didn't really think they had a great team and I don't remember them being talked about as much as your saying. There were plenty of better teams than them last year in my opinion. Now this year is different. They are more experienced and are playing a lot better offensively and defensively.

Post Player, what happened with Arlington vs Liberty Benton? Was LB just a better team or did Arlington have an off game?

Ottoville lost to DSJ in the district semi's last year, not Jefferson.

Oh did they? Ok I got the two Delphos teams mixed up. I edited my post that way we wouldnt have another response lol Either way I didn't have high expectations of them going far in tournament last season especially with knowing there were teams in the NW Ohio that were better like Jefferson, Arlington, and even DSJ since they did lose to them. This year I would say they are better than Jefferson, better than Delphos St Johns, but against Arlington that might be a toss up. In all honesty I would give the edge to Arlington as long as they can maintain that physical agressive style of defense.
