As everyone knows, Crestview lost many key Seniors but look for them to fill those spots and start strong.

Well if several have Grove picked to win the PCL, I gotta think they will be up there. I agree with Spencerville...not so much w/ Crestview. Crestview lacks depth at the scoring spots and overall.
My picks would be Spencerville then Grove, Crestview, and Lincolnview in any possible order.

Crestview is the gold standard. Until someone beats them...I'll stick with the Knights. Grove, Spencerville and Lincolnview seem like a fair grouping of challengers.
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Crestview looked good against Wayne Trace and WT is a final four contender.
I did not expect the Knights to look so well after losing what we lost last year.
Never know. I feel we will be in a lot of close battles of which we could lose, but I think Wayne Trace and Crestview are the two early favorites from the NW region.
Still a long long way to go.

They will always play well especially come January. Above average athletes are always there and your coach is a very very good coach. There may be some that disagree with that opinion, but give me a dozen coaches in NWO that are better.

I agree they will have a lot of close battles, especially if Lautzenheiser doesn't start hot. If they wind up finishing fourth in the conference that still only suggests they lose two maybe (doubtful) three games. Prediction is 13-9 (two conference losses). You play away at St. Johns, Miller City, LCC, Arlington (the night after LCC), Wayne Trace, and Grove. Lincolnview, Celina, and Spencerville all at home....

Regards to your thought that Crestview is an early favorite in the NW Region...I would think Ottawa Hills and Arlington might have something to say about that. We shall see!

I don't know about loaded. Lack strength inside. A good player to watch is Zach Goecke. 2nd team all state in football. But, basketball is his main sport.

Don't know much as of right now as grove opens up its season Friday against a solid Jefferson team. Spencerville and Crestview definetely in the top 2.

Super young team. Have one of the most athletic players in the league in Gonzales and a few nice pieces with Edwards at guard and Arellano at the post/wing. In the midst of a brutal stretch against the WBL favorite (Defiance), GMC fave (WT), NWC fave (Spencerville) and PCL fave (MC). Their record might not speak to it at the end of the year but I think, barring injury, they'll be playing their best ball at the end of the season.

Had 21 and played solid defense last Saturday vs ft jennings and kept their shooters at bay for most of it. They will be dangerous with how he and Nourse shoot....watch out for Prichard when he gets healthy too

Watched Spencerville vs Paulding. Is that the Spencerville that is projected to win NWC??? Not impressed!!! Numerous unforced turnovers, missing wide open shots, hardly ever attempting to go inside and settling for NBA 3s. Shooting percentage in the 30% range. Their defense was like swiss chz. Definitely did not look like a Sensabaugh team or a conference fav.

TiGgEr3....I agree. Thats what it would take. Spencerville being off and Paulding being on.

First off..I know Sensabaugh is an outstanding coach, period. But his team just didnt look mentally prepared to play that game Fri nite. It just didnt look like their heads or hearts where in it. And TiGgEr3...on second thought, a team who's playing for conference title and a favorite to win a conference can not have a off nite or do what it legally take to win on an off nite.
