i just remembered, tyler leatherman will prolly be the ace with alex #2. the only other senior pitcher that i can think of would be brandon schroeder also alex shuemaker who battled burgoon from defiance last year and held his own for being a sophmore. they lost a couple do to graduation but i'm sure a couple juniors will step up.

Jake Meyer pitched some (and fairly effectively) in ACME, he could give the titans some quality innings on the mound if he can field the position wink.gif

Just found out that Garver is out for the season
arm injury........ thumbdown.gif

The good news is there is another Garver, Cam. He is a Freshman and a GREAT athlete! Rumor has it he will be playing Varsity. He plays outfield and is scheduled to pitch a few non league games. Looking forward to a lot from him this season. thumbup1.gif

I think Bath will be very good this year with Sterling, Mohr, and several other pitchers! Watch out and don't under estimate them!

Meyer can pitch but there is no backup catcher. Brickner is gone, leading hitter and ss. Lots of holes to fill, not enough good seniors!

That reference is wrong. Cam Garver's arm is stronger than ever. Saw him working out at FAST two weeks ago and he looked GREAT. As far as Brett Garver, sad but true...... his shoulder is injured, he will miss his senior season.

I guess with the departure of Mohr people don't think the Dawgs will have much. (I didn't say that I agreed with that)

I just don't think the Dawgs have the pitching to finish in the top half of the league. Life is pretty easy when you can run a future major league draft pick out there to pitch every WBL game. When he pitched, they rarely had to score more than one or two runs to win. Add the fact that he was their best hitter and you'll have a tough time convincing me that things won't be a little rough for Elida this season. I'm a huge Coach Thompson fan, so I hope I'm wrong for his sake but I just don't see it being a very good year.

Titan pitchers were gunned. Hermiller constant mid 80's, Some jr low 80's rest of the staff upper 70's. The Titans might surprise some people.
