Ada has a few solid linemen, but that's about it. Not much in the way of skilled kids. They also lost their coach, which is always a difficult transition, even if the new coach is from within the program.
Jefferson is as bad as I've ever seen them. They lost a tremendous amount of talent. They are small and slow, which is a bad combination. Taviano isn't a particularly skilled coach, imo. They looked disorganized, unprepared and barely under control when they played at Allen East. Most of their behavior seemed to model their coach's behavior, which was barely under control.
If junior high is any indicator for future success (it rarely is, though talent is talent), then there could be a few tough years before it gets better. The Ada JH has a really good QB, who I can't imagine won't start as a freshman next year. Not a lot around him, but in that system the QB is everything. Jefferson had some decent talent this year. Pretty stout up front, but not overly athletic.
As is always the case, this tends to be cyclical. It's difficult to stay at the top forever, especially with the coaching turnover both of these programs have faced.

Admin: why the off the cuff comment about a transfer to Shawnee? Why don't you call Coop and hash it out. Your bias is disgusting and immature.

But for a supposed leader of young men he's been suspended from a game and now he gets into an altercation on the side line with an assistant coach as well as his boy getting into a fight also seems like a bad fit. JMO

He'll be gone by end of the year and move so his kid can play some where and be the center of attention.
And this is where Shawnee comes into play......Coop knows how to play the switcheroo game with the best of them.....the OHSAA has looked away and this seems like a perfect fit.

That is always a possibility with Coop, but it's not like Jefferson is a treasure trove of talent right now.
