Seriously watching this game Miller City had many opportunities to win. Too many missed free throws.
On a second note, the 2 seniors from Pandora cocking off to Miller city fans wan a bit over the top. Seriously those kids need to keep their heads on and show some respect!#10 was chanting scoreboard and #4 was aging him on. Not real classy!

I would say “act like you’ve been there before” but since this is the “Next Level” from where PG finished last year I guess it doesn’t apply.

Hey now!!
It was a BIG win vs a hated rival........

Hated rival? News to me.

2010 must still be stinging. I reckon last night's win helped with that...finally.

I'm not sure I'm buyin the Ottoville hype after this year. They lose a lot and if I'm Thorbain I transfer out.

No MC fan here.. just outside observations, but you go ahead and dismiss it.

Well they are from Pandora so...
After hearing the way the “ classy” fans from Miller City were talking to the teenagers on the court I think the rockets players were well within there rights to talk back!! You would think fans in there 50s would no how to act in public!! Don’t blame the players. Blame MC fans.

Were all the MC men wearing blue and gold Miller City ball caps? I don’t think they’ll let you into games there if you don’t wear those hats. I think even some of the women wear MC ball caps

Well that’s fine because nobody is asking you to buy the hype and it surely won’t have any impact if you do or not. They lose a little but I wouldn’t say a lot. The freshman class this year went all through junior high with only losing 1 game I believe so give it a couple years and this team just might be better then this years team. We shall see.
I hate to burst your bubble mysterio but 3 very close friends of mine from Green country told me last night after the game that they are losing a lot. I sure hope you don't relate junior high success to high school wins. Our 8th grade was not very good but beat you guys easily. Our 7th grade was absolutely clueless on the court but our game went into overtime before you beat us. Does that mean that we are going to beat you in a couple of years. Probably not.

If you think losing 30-40 points per game by the seniors is loosing a little then you have no sense of reality.

On another note I hope the freshman kid is ok. That was sad to see.

There’s no bubble bursting here trust me. First off when I bring up the junior high, im making a point about the potential that group has. Ya the wins may not contribute to the high school level even though so far it has but what I’m saying is the talent is there. The potential is there.

The other point about what they lost. What I’m saying is I don’t think they lose too much to the point they are a below .500 team next season.

I was fine with it. Grove just didn't get off good shots in either the end of regulation or in the 1st overtime.

My question is whether the over and back call was correct. Because Grove clearly didn't have front court possession on the inbounds play. That allowed Kalida to have the last possession on which they scored.

Great game to watch. Grove is definitely going to be a team to watch the next few years.
Watched the play several times and had to pause it just right to catch it. But yeah he catches the ball just barely in the front court then his foot comes down in the back court. Credit to the ref I don't know if I would have caught it.

Stiff.

Rockets won't make it to state. They might get to regional finals but that's about as far as I can see them go. I honestly can't see them getting passed Kalida this weekend though.

Thanks for the backup Flightcrew! Another thing that is vital to getting the proper fit for that MC hat: you’ve gotta put a soup or salad bowl on your head, get the scissors out and give yourself one of those nice Putnam County haircuts that you see on so many of those 50-60 year old guys over there

Now that you say it, yes, I have noticed the MC fashion statement made with the baseball hats...........and that haircut is called the "Louie Noirot special"

I would like to see that. Since MC is such a great baseball school, maybe they wear them during the baseball season. I heard of Louie.

Considering the success the past five years that the MC baseball program has had, its no wonder everyone in town has a MC hat.
