Teams: Ada (4-14), Allen East (4-13), Marion Local (12-4), Minster (10-6), New Bremen (7-11), New Knoxville (5-11), Perry (9-7), Ridgemont (1-14), St. Henry (15-3), Temple Christian (9-8), Upper Scioto Valley (13-3), Waynesfield-Goshen (3-15)

Seeding is this weekend. I've gotta think St. Henry or Marion Local get the # 1 and go to Coldwater, with the other going to Bath. Which way do Minster and USV go, then?

Gotta think teams will be more worried about St Henry than ML I think St Henry gets the 1....goes to Coldwater....Marion Local goes to Bath....USV isn't going to go after St Henry...or make the drive to Coldwater so they go to Bath too. Minster gets the 4....and will have a decision to make. They got beat pretty bad by both St Henry and ML....so I'm gonna guess they save some mileage and go to Coldwater...

I think when all is said and done, Marion Local should be the team. They’ve got everyone back from last year!!

I have seen both ML and St Henry and Marion Local is just now starting to come around and I think they will only get better..... St Henry is talented, but after watching them over the years, I just don’t think they play hard....I go with Local!!!!!

Check out USV’s resume vs. Minster’s. I think Minster may get the 3.

St. Henry has a better record than ML but has a recent bad loss to Celina and also got drilled by ML earlier this year.

Are you sure you’ve seen ML play? They haven’t run the matchup zone in years. They’ll throw in a 1-3-1 on occasion but other than that they run man.

Seems odd that you say that while in the ‘defense’ threadI think you stated that ML and Syracuse have played only zone......and yes, they still play the matchup zone along with the man....and, it makes it difficult for the opponent to figure it out!!!!

I cited ML as an example as a team that ‘has’ played exclusively zone through the years. Namely, the Jack Albers and Keith Westrick years. They don’t play the 2-3 any longer unless it’s a one-off gimmick or for an in-bounds play.

They do still play a matchup zone which is a variation of the zone.....looks so much like a man defense but also employs zone variations....an they play it hard, not like the old lazy zones.....I do agree that they play mostly man, but when they go to the matchup it just throws teams out of balance....I will see them shortly as they play the Jays, but the matchup is a b!tch and hard to play against!!!!!
