just curious to see who you think will make it to the "Big Dance" from the big ten?

record RPI rating
Ohio State 22-4 5
Illinois 23-5 12
Iowa 20-8 14
Michigan St. 19-9 17
Wisconsin 19-8 16
Michigan 18-8 26
Indiana 16-10 44
Minnesota 14-11 70
Northwestern 13-13 87
Penn St. 14-12 111
Purdue 9-17 163

**found the information on cbssportsline.com and was last updated 2-28-06, I think the top 6 teams will definately get in, If Indiana beats Michigan on the road and wins a couple games in the Big Ten tourney then I think they make it too? Let me know what you think?

the RPI rating is after the record of each team, I dont know why it put them so close together? When I made the post I had them apart from each other , just thought I would let you know.

I don't know if OSU can make it, they are right on the bubble....Ok I'm just messin with you cuz of your name. I think those top 6 teams should make it, and maybe Indiana but they gotta pull their heads outta their a**es and start playing Hoosier Basketball.
I wanted to have a career in sports when I was young, but I had to give it up. I'm only six feet tall, so I couldn't play basketball. I'm only 190 pounds, so I couldn't play football. And I have 20-20 vision, so I couldn't be a referee. ~Jay Leno

I heard on ESPN or some sports show on ESPN that the below teams are in for sure.
Ohio State 22-4 5
Illinois 23-5 12
Iowa 20-8 14
Michigan St. 19-9 17
Wisconsin 19-8 16

Now get this, they said the winner of the Ind @ Mich game (Sat Mar 4) will get in. I was shocked! I'm a big OSU fan, incase you haven't noticed, but I think if Indy wins they should both go. MSU has to go to Illinois Saturday and they will probably lose. To me 8-8 in the Big Ten should get you into the big dance. Also I was suprised by the comment that the winner would get in because they have a Big Ten touney at the end and I think they (Ind and Mich) will make their case or lose their case. I was hoping for 7 teams to get in, but that might not happen sad.gif .

I would really like to see Indiana make it but it might be tough...as for the Bucks getting number one it will be tough but great shot at it.....

It seems Michigan State always has a dissapointing season...just like last year but look what happened .... they surprised everyone by beating kentucky and killing duke but losing in the final four .... they will step it up come tourney time .... i garantee it ....... osu wont make it far... yeah they are a surprising team this year but they dont have much experience in tournaments ..

it will be interesting to see how the Big Ten does in the tournament this year, it seems they usually get one team to at least the great eight. After the Big Ten tournament is over I root for all the Big Ten schools to do well. ( yes even Mich....)lol I like to see the conference do well.

OSU will probably not get a number 1 seed because the most likely teams ahead of them that i have heard are Villinova, Duke, UConn, Memphis, and Texas.
