2010 district final LCC won 48- 40

Titans won both games last season, regular season and in the district finals.

LCC won the regular season contest this season between these two.

Many great games going way back between the two traditional NW Ohio powers.

This one is for a trip to Columbus.

Predictions/ analysis/ comments?

I'm a little concerned OG had such a walk through tonight.
Still not shooting the ball well but the defense at times has been very good.

After watching both games tonight, I'll take the Birds 51-44

Titans haven't really shot the ball well all season.......defense has been the name of the game. OG has given up an average of 42 points a game during this tournament and that was with a 65 point output by the Sherwood Apaches in the sectional.

This is going to be a battle in a packed house at BGSU, I am waiting for the Mosheen's prediction with anticipation.

Birds should take this and get Coach Kill to C-bus. But I am not betting on that. Titans playing good D of late.

Can't wait to be in this great tournament atmosphere Friday night! I think LCC will be able to win because of OGs inability at times to score the ball, though I expect a very close game in this one with free throws being the only thing to stretch the lead in the end.

I haven't had the opportunity to talk with 'Sheen yet but I don't think anything he says will change my mind on this game.........
Free throws and turnovers will decide this game

Neither of which the titans do well........the NWC Will extend their dominance over area teams In a rather convincing fashion.........

Two teams familiar with each other, should be a good game regardless. I'm going with LCC by 7.

I just hope Kill keeps his job... ;)

I have not seen OG in person. But I've said all year long that defensively, LCC is tough as nails. For this reason I give the edge to LCC. If they decide they want to shut you down... I'm not sure what ANYBODY can do about it. It is really special to watch when they are on their game.
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

OG's defense isn't too shabby. Lets go Titans!!!

I'll be looking at the student sections for some home-court advantage here. Edge-OG. I have been too about 90% of OG's games this year and the students really get into it.

Well I can't really base this up coming game on what we saw in the reginal semi's - but both teams thrive defensively - strong on the boards , so it will come down to TO's and foul shooting ( UGH !!! )

So maybe all us good catholics rooting on the Titans can say a prayer ??

Still think it should be a great game - I do not think the first game is indicative of how this one will end up.

I think the first one to 40 wins !

90% of schools in he regional finals will bring a student section that will "really get into it" lol. Sorry, student sections wont win or lose this game.

Im taking the birds 52-38.

IF OG has problems scoring at times they are in for a loooong night. LCC plays in your face defense for 32 minutes

What are the odds this "classic" matchup makes a few top 67 tournament games of all time?

I would only think if the Titans can spring the upset will it make that list..........LCC is a big favorite as evidenced by
the "Las Falcon's" pick 'em contest spread.....

I just don't see it right now.........if anyone who's followed the Titans could give us some stats on this team.......what is
the Titans free throw shooting pct?

what is their field goal pct. from 3 pt. land for the season?
and how many turnovers do they average, both for and against?

LCC is hitting on all cylinders and I believe that OG is in for a long night unless they can get someone who can knock down some shots early

Vic, the players might not pay attention to crowd, but believe me..... they hear them. A Lot of noise is a better momentum builder than a quiet crowd
