Final standings going into the seeding the next couple of days and the draw on Sunday.

Hickville (15-3)
WT (15-3)
Crestview (14-3)
FJ (14-5)
Ottoville (13-5)
Ayersville (13-5)
Lincolnview (11-7)
DSJ (10-6)
Antwerp (8-8)
Parkway (7-10)
Continental (1-16)

My thoughts are as follows:
#1 Crestview goes to Van Wert
#2 Wayne Trace goes to Paulding
3-Ottoville
4-Hicksville
5-FJ
6-DSJ
7-Lincolnview
8-Ayersville
9-Parkway
10-Antwerp
11-Continental

I have trouble giving the GMC teams too much credit due to the schedule they play. Especially after seeing Hicksville lose to Paulding (even though I read Hicksville's best player may have been out). Schedule makes me put Ayersville and Antwerp down the list a little as well. I give DSJ credit and may have been able to push them in to the 4 or 5 spot after going 2-1 to the district and losing close to Crestview. I also struggled with FJ. After not really having a bad loss but not blowing out some of their lesser competition, it's hard to put my finger on them. I think Ottoville is a good 3. Besides their loss to FJ, all their losses were within 8 points and the "worst" loss being to DSJ, so I'm not sure anyone will be too excited to play them....including Crestview or Wayne Trace

I think after finding out the seeds, I think Sunday is going to be exciting to hear where the coaches choose to place themselves. I would love to hear everyone else's thoughts on this district.

I've been told that Van Wert has 5 and Paulding has 6.

It's gonna be interesting....I see Hicksville as the 5 seed now.

C-view obviously to VW.....Wayne Trace to Paulding. 3 seed goes to Paulding with a bye also. #4 and #5 are gonna be tricky....go to VW and take a bye but have to play Crestview in the second game....or go to Pauldling and stay away from the Knights until the District final. May not be all that crazy to think that the byes in VW may end up going to the #6 or #7 seeds

Here's the bracket I was able to make a copy of.

I likely take the the 4 line if I'm Crestview and the 6 line if I'm Wayne Trace.

Crestview takes line 1....almost guaranteeing themselves a matchup with the winner of #10 and #11 seeds. . If they go to line 4, they risk playing a better seeded team who may take a chance on playing Crestview right away....and only having to play 1 game. You've got to play them at some point anyway....a bye may be too good of a thing to pass up

I think line 4 gives you a better chance of playing the 11-seed. Most are going to avoid Crestview anyway and Line 4 is basically a bye. If you take line 1, 11-seed will fall on 2 or 3. Likely 10-seed will fall there as well. Would you rather play Continental to get to Elida or Parkway/Antwerp? If someone wants to take a chance at Crestview, they'll risk going against Continental on line 2/3 to get to Crestview anyway...giving you essentially the same outcome.

But I certainly see your point about someone taking a chance at 1 game to get to Elida. I just don't think it makes a difference for Crestview. But what Crestview chooses could make a HUGE difference for the #4 seed. Line 1 vs. Line 4 for a #4 is big

I don't think the 4 seed ends up at VW regardless of Crestview taking line 1 or line 4. Seeds 2 and 3 obviously go to Paulding and take the byes......and if you're #4 or #5, I'm not so sure you don't just take an extra game....and stay at Paulding and away from Crestview til the District finals. I could even see a 6 or even a 7 seed getting at bye in VW....and everyone else jumping into Paulding.
