This is true. BUT IMO the OHSAA made it clear they prefer turf when PH-LC went to Perrysburg and Bryan-Napoleon went to Toledo when a pefectly suitable local site was available in Defiance(and Napoleon for PH-LC).

That is true BUT do we know if Defiance put in to host those games?
This is also true, and Id bet last year after Romney and then rain ruined the field I believe week 10 they didnt. Cant see why they wouldnt have 2 years ago though.

Can't see leaving a turf field open.
Probably also the reason they moved Ada/Crestview south a bit.

Lima for Tinora/WT. Kinda disappointing, guess I can save my 9 bucks. Should be a great game still though.

Congrats, you got the game on turf. And in the process hurt the communities and fans of Wayne Trace and Tinora. Instead of keeping the game right in their backyards in the 5/6 county area in NW Ohio, Tinora has to make an hour drive to Lima, Wayne Trace a good 40-50 minute drive and the fans of both teams, instead of having a nearby game, they pretty much have to hit the road as soon as they get off work and go completely out of the 5/6 county area just to see their damn teams play.
The preference for turf over grass is great and all, but the OHSAA needs to pull their heads out of their collective asses for a change. They're becoming as big of a goddamn joke as the NCAA is.

This is best option to play the game in good conditions. If it would rain and next weeks game was played on a sloppy field everyone would have been all over OHSAA for playing it on a grass surface
