1. Wapak: 10-0 (@ OG tonight, host Celina tomorrow night and then @ Defiance on Tuesday)

2. Defiance: 11-1 (Coach Held continues to win games with anyone. Big game @ OG tomorrow night)

3. Coldwater: 12-2 (Probably biggest game in Ohio tonight @ Ft. Recovery)

4. Versailles: 10-2 (Another huge MAC game tonight as the Tigers travel to St. Henry)

5. Russia: 11-3 (Only losses came to Anna, Versailles and Ft. Recovery. Very solid team)

6. Ottawa Glandorf: 9-2 (The Titans haven't lost since April 6th. Starting to play like everyone expected them to)

7. Lincolnview: 12-2 (Despite losing to Jefferson, the Lancers are still a very good team with athletes all over the field)

8. Ft. Recovery: 13-5 (Arguably the best pitcher in Ohio with a tough test tonight vs. Coldwater at home)

9. New Bremen: 11-4 (Cardinals have made huge strides from the last couple years. Can they continue to compete in the MAC though?)

10. Crestview: 8-3 (The Knights started slow but are getting better as they go along. Biggest test tonight vs. Lincolnview)

Next 5: St. Henry (9-4), Ft. Loramie (10-4), Van Buren (11-2), Tinora (7-2), Anna (8-4)

OG needs to step up defensively. In their 4 losses this season, they have committed 18 errors. They outhit Bryan 8-7 in a 5-1 loss, Elida 4-3 in a 2-1 loss, and even in hits with 11 each in 12-5 loss to Defiance. They were outhit by Wapak 7-5 in a 6-4 loss. Their #1 last year, Fuerst, has only pitched a couple of innings this year and uncertain whether he will be 100% anytime soon. Top to bottom-Wapak is very solid.

Huge surprise....not necessarily the result (Wapak is good), but that Roedeiger threw a 2-hitter with 15 K's. A 2-hitter against Defiance is almost unheard of....and I'm guessing they've never fanned 15 times, at least since Held's been the HC. Kind of nice to see some WBL teams getting the W against Defiance after them having dominated so long. I think it's good for the league

This could be Wapak's year to win it all. They have dominant pitching depth and good hitters. The move in from Virginia is as good a hitter as I have seen in a long time. Roedeiger was consistently at 89 to 91 on his fastball.

I saw that LCC baseball made the regionals in D-4. Does anybody know if they will be in D-4 in Basketball next year? I guess they having declining enrollment. Thank you..
