I'm a huge Cavs fan and an even bigger LBJ fan but I would put the Cavs behind the Lakers, Magic and Celtics right now.

Celtics, for real? they are struggling terrible....By the way Cavs are 38-11 best record in the NBA lakers are 37-12....If I was being Honest, I would probably take the Lakers over Cavs, but not Celtics and Magic...

I do not like the Lakers one bit. Liked their head coach when he coached another team. But the Lakers are in the west which has many more quality teams then the east. Taking nothing away from the Cavs because right now they are the best in the East handily. But the who has a better record can not be compared realistically.

It may not be just this simple ... then again, maybe it is.

Two meetings between Cavaliers and Lakers this year. Cavs are 2-0.

You can say what you want about this conference being tougher, or that team being deeper, or whatever coach being better, smarter. But head-to-head, Cavs are 2-0 against the Lakers this season (including a butt-whooping on Christmas Day), and you cannot discount that fact.

2 games does not say who is better. I am not a Laker fan one bit. I rather see Cleveland beat them.

No, two games doesn't necessarily determine who is better ... but it sure doesn't hurt. The fact remains, in the games scheduled between Cleveland and L.A. this season, the Cavs are 2-0. Instead of conjecture, we have solid facts to go on, and that's a 2-0 record.

Starting 5, I believe the Lakers might be a hair better, just because they have some versatile bigs. But the Cavs win with a slightly better/deeper bench.
