Now hopefully this is put in mothballs for good after failing two consecutive years.

Word is a group of Eastern/ NE Ohio schools next step is putting together a petition to have a vote for separate public and private tournaments, which IMO is also a bad idea.

Seperating public and private would be devestating to the OHSAA and the OHSAA brass know this. Private schools, atleast the Catholic ones, are already connected by a seperate entity, the Catholic church. It would not take much for these schools to get together and seperate completely from the OHSAA (which then all hell would break loose on the recruiting front I might add). Would this happen quickly? I don't know, but I think it could happen.

It amazes me that NE Ohio schools are the driving force but fail to identify Cleveland Glenville as a major 'factory' of kids playing football and athletes transferring into that school in large numbers.
