And the question remains...why does Eugene Smith still have a job?
Also, it would be interesting to see some kind of figures as to how many student-athletes have decommitted from the various schools who have committed "crimes."

I'm not sure what this letter is trying to show. It basically just sums up what we already know. I don't feel any differently reading it after as I did before hand.

Smith has a job because it would be next to impossible to bring in a good replacement. No one wants to step into a job, and their first order of business is to clean house. My guess is that Smith cleans house, then is shown the door.
Second, Ohio State is still Ohio State, a few may have decommitted, but I'd guess most is still on board.

I don't think this is BuckeyeMail. I have BuckeyeMail and nothing we ever get looks like this. In my opinion this was a scanned letter on a bad copy machine.

I guess I just continually get confused more and more by what is going on and can't understand why the NCAA is taking as long as they are.

The president of America's largest institution of higher learning should not be making statements like............."Fire Coach Tressel..........Why, I hope Coach Tressel doesn't fire me'!!

Fire E. Gordon Gee and Gene Smith. They screwed up the wet dream that was Ohio State football for the last 10 years and will mess up the next 10 years also if they have any hand in selecting the next coach. They will look for a puppet. If these two tools are gone, then get your list of prospects ready. You want to do the full round of interviews with 3 guys, all entirely different. You want a proven guy who is ready to make the next step. You want a dark horse hiding in plain sight like JT was. And Luke Fickel. He voluntarily walked into this mess last May and you have to give him an honest
chance at the job him for that alone.
