Liberty beat Continental @ LB in a preseason scrimmage, I'll be interested to see what happens in the rematch @ Continental on 9/2

Grace-
First of all, I think L-B lost a very good group of seniors last year.
Next, I believe the Falcon squad has a player or two on the team this season that chose not to play last year. Plus, I can't emphasize enough just how good this year's freshmen are. I have watched these girls play since they were probably 5-6 yrs. old. When they played Black Swamp soccer, they always moved to the next age level a season early. They were usually on the young side facing older teams. They rarely lost during those years. Their last year of U12, they were in the BOYS division and won almost all of their regular season games. In U15 (co-ed) most of these girls still played on an all-girls team facing teams with more boys than girls...and beating them also. Although my daughter (who used to play with them...and was an excellent defensive player in her own right, I might add) chose to play volleyball instead this year, I will continue to root for them as they surprise a few folks this year.
I will back whatever my daughter's decisions are (concerning which sport she wants to play), but it wouldn't upset me at all if she chose to return to play with this group of classmates in the future.
I look for this year's team to be pretty competitive. As far as the freshmen...I am not going to make any predictions as to what this group will or won't accomplish in the next 4 years, but I won't be surprised at all to see some GREAT things happen in the next few years.
