i agree with knightmare cause if the 2 captains from vb think that 11 should be a captain the they should just give him their own orange band

And for the record SS9, Herrera might be a tool, but he was a tool that wiped the pitch with your team.

First of all, the 2 captains never said that they themselves shouldn't be captains for the team... They just said that number 11 should be a definite 3rd captain. As to why he wasn't, who knows because after all - he is a 4 yr varsity letter winner... As for myturn- I still believe the season can be turned around... The league (NCOSA) is now out of question with a 0-2 record so far, but VB can turn this season around, do well in the tournament, and make it difficult for other teams to beat VB...

Um ha Knightmare Herera didn't even play well in our game, he did score but it was quite a lucky goal, he didn't do anything to impress me during the game

I'm gonna have to go with soccerstar on this one. I watched the game and Herera didn't play like I thought he would. He could have been replaced by about anyone else on their team.

Geez, based on this thread I can see why Van Buren soccer has been down in the past few years. Cut throat teammates and in-fighting are never good.

What team? You think I played for the black knight soccer team? Ha... and as for Herrera and Cory... fine if they didn't play well then explain the 5-1 score Spencer. He did more in the game than you did and benchwarmer, maybe they should have taken Herrera out after his team had a three goal lead on you guys... Van Buren over PG 1-0... goal by Captain John. There's the prediction VBSS2.

And as far as being... oh how was that put? A tratorious alumni I think it was... I am fully supportive of my Alma Matter and all that it does... even when the soccer team loses to Upper Sandusky. I want all Van Buren athletics to succeed this year and for many years to come, the only thing that riles me up is when people like SS9 and Benchwarmer see it fit to take shots at a now innocent bystander. Trust me... if I had the chance, I would be losing these games right along with you guys... but I no longer have that privelage and if you think for one minute that I wouldn't then it is you who do not understand or have room to speak about soccer.

For the record I was settled down until you took un needed shots at me but look, you are deservingly a team captain and you have gotten better at soccer since your freshman year ss9, I hope that you can finish strong in your senior year.
