Was there only one ref? How was the control of the game?

I had the score today as TC 2 LB 1. For some reason their was only 2 people at todays game who didn't see TC's second goal and they just happened to be the referees. The bigger older guy on the far end wasn't to bad, but I thought he let to much go early on for a scrimmage and then things got a little out of control late. For example one of LB's players got injured from a careless slide tackle from behind. As for the other guy, he has no business being on the field at all. He was at no time ever in the correct position to make the right call. However the ball did go out of bounds when LB supposedly had a goal called back, trust me I was right there on the goal line. That may have been the only call he got right all day.
Now overall I thought LB had a better team than TC. They had better ball movement and their athletes were just better in my opinion. I thought the play of TC's keeper is what kept them in the game. I'm not sure who LB is going to have as their starting keeper, but neither of them today looked as good as Thieman did last year. Also their midfield didn't seem as strong as last year with out Walker in the mix. I also don't see TC as being nearly as good as last year. They lost 3rd team all stater Andrew Bosserman as well as another really good player in Ben Pereus.
I think LB is going to have a pretty good year this year, but I will know more on wednesday when they play at O-G as to just how good they will be this year.
I think TC will have a decent team this year, just not as good as last year. Probably around 8 or 9 wins.

My guess is that this will end up being a very physical and ugly game.

I noticed this thread and can't help but correct a few errors. At LB expectations are high after all they also only lost 2 from the staring line up and return 15 senoirs. Nobody at LB hired Louis from UF to coach. Louis coached a Premier Soccer team in the NWOYSL, try-outs were posted and run in the Courier, meaning anyone even from P-G could of tried out. The team eneded up made of players from Findlay, LB , Riverdale, VB , Fort Jennings and other schools. Brian Walsh (UF) also coached a Premeir team and held try outs posted again in the Courier and that team ended up leaning to LB but again anyone from P-G would have been more then welcomed to try out. Or as suggested have enough money to hire them. LB's field is the worst part of the soccer program, but it has been approved and a new Soccer field is in the works, slated to begin play next Fall at LBHS.
Scheduling is done by the administration and they do have obligations to the league, it is not LB's fault the league has fell apart and became so weak. Oh and Yes LB has heard of Worthington Christian and I know the head coach has asked to play them but can only play the schedule delt to him.
No one from LB's Varsity has declared a State Championship, After the Football and Basketball teams last year they have set that as a goal and quite frankly if every school doesn't want to win the State Championship why are they playing? Oh and the "old guy" is Jim Hayes who is the JV Coach.
Goalie wise, it is one of the "open" positions and both are playing "tight" for the open spot. The Goalie that started is a Junior who is trying to unseat a senior who has played behind Thieman. Keep in mind Thieman was a 4 year player, not to mention Kurt was a heck of a Goalie.
Don't mean to come of arrogant, I am sure I don't have the soccer experience as most on here, as a player I was only able to make it to college soccer, the Pro game was beyond me. Coaching wise I spend my time in both the competitive and rec divisions. I have though spent many hours coaching quite a few(5) of the LB players in the Findlay competitive program and stay involved with my players as much as I can. Can't wait for the game!
