what a shame that no ones post in here i love volleyball, and not because of girls in spandex but because of the excitement (of getting another girl nailed inthe face) i love to see someone spike or get an ace and a good volly. Warren Local in southeast ohio has two superb players in Alaina McAuley and Cassie Kidder they both are great but cassie is graduating and alaina got first team in league and is only a soph! be afraid when shes up infront of the net. cassie was a great leader for them and has the biggest heart for her team she went on to somekind of all ohio tourney that im not too sure what it is smile.gif such a shame more people dont like volleyball, its kinda like tennis i love watching tennis too, lol dont go bashing vball on here either, go find 2 great teams and it could provide all day enjoyment sorry about my rant smile.gif i just hope this isnt the last topic on here either

In my opinion VB has gotten a lot more exciting since they went to the rally scoring. Now you make a great play and you actually get a point for it, you don't go back and forth side out after side out with no change in score.

But for those you don't frequent high school VB go to a game with a couple of big spikers its fun watching them jam it down other girls throats.

Not a real big fan but when a girl just gets a ball sent rite into her face and the crowd(if there is one there), starts yelling " YOU GOT STUFFED!!!" now that is exciting

LOL glad to see support! and i agree i love rally scoring and when alaina (as mentioned above) spikes it at an incredible speed i put my hand up like im holding a radar gun and say "Too hott for you!" ok so im cheezy i also make up my own VB cheers like "ace ace, hit 'em in the face" or "ace ace send the ball to space" im just THAT creative

I think Volleyball is one of the best sports at Washington Senior Highschool. The girls work hard and i think they get more support from the students than the football team! Spiking the ball is the greatest but passing is also oen of the important things!

I think Football crushes Volleyball during the fall as far as interest goes......but these ladies work VERY hard and deserve all the attention they DO get...... wink.gif cool.gif

Once, the membership picks up and closer to the season the posts will pick up. Not much to talk about right now.

I enjoy volleyball...but would much rather play it instead of watch it. I tried to get a guys volleyball team started. I had the interest, but couldn't get anything going. Alder wanted to make sure that the number of girls sports matched the guys sports. Plus we just spent a ton of money on a new track and since it's a spring sport, they wanted a lot of people to go out for that. Kinda frustrating...but oh well.

We also have a lot of kids going out for track because usually track is one of the better sports at our school, but this year volleyball had an awesome year and so usually if the students support volleyball, track gets alot of support also!

This thread shouldnt die until next fall because CLub volleyball is coming up! There is alot to talk about it!

No we dont have any school around Fayette County that have a guys volleyball team but it would be a good idea to add the sport because all the guys would actually try out and play!

I don't know many guys who would try out. I think it would be like CYO where it is kind of a joke but it is still fun.
