standings are gonna be?

i think that both conferences are gonna be tough. i think it would be tough to rank these 2 conferences.

i think the PCL has the tougher of the two confrences. with ottoville, kalida, and Fort Jennings.
Kalida has a really good team this year. they will be excellent offensively and the pitching will be good once again. Ottoville has several seniors coming back that can do a lot. ss josh vorst, p nick miller. ottoville sufferd a huge loss with tyler miller going down though. Fort jennings several players that if they keep improving from last year they might cause some comotion.

i forgot about Columbus Grove. they will have another good team this year.

Kalida is probually the favorite to win, but i dont think you can give it too them that fast. With the return of an ace and the PCL player of the year they should be pretty good. The question I have is what happends if the other team score 4 to 5 runs, then what. I dont think Kalida can score that much. You can always pitch around Ross. This year they are thin in the line up, and I dont know if there other hitters can step up and drive in run consitantly. The team to watch this year is Fort Jennings. They are the best hitting team in the PCL this year, and give them some pitching they could be a very dangerous team. With weber leading off and batting over 400, he is a great lead off hitter. Then they have Stechschulte, Bruskuter, and Schimiller, if healthy in the middle of the line up. Bruskuter is a great consistent hitter, Schimiller, if can be healthy has the talent to be a great hitter, and Stechschulte, that can hit for power and run, and if I remeber right had 5 RBI's and a home run in a huge PCL game vs kalida last year, so he is clutch. This team is the best hitting team and can be the best team in the pcl if there pitching develops. The have a really good pitcher in Joel, and Sean could be great, but Fort Jennings are realying on some kids to step up.

No love for the Pirates over here either. Look for Kalida @ Leipsic to be front runners. But like they say it's a little early to tell.

Last year Van Buren sailed to the BVC title with a 9-0 record. Leipsic may be the team to beat this year.

Van Buren lost a lot from a very good team last year. So I look for Leipsic to take the BVC.
High school baseball is all about the ace pitcher. If Kalida's ace can pitch well vs. the top couple teams and the rest of their staff can keep them in games vs the bottom teams they will win the PCL.

I look for Kalida to win the PCL with Ryan Hoffman and Ross Guisinger headlining their staff
