I question Marshawn Lynch.. He's great against less talent teams but when he went up against very talented defenses, he was no where to be found

I woulda liked to see the Steelers take Posluzny over Timmons...
I wanted to have a career in sports when I was young, but I had to give it up. I'm only six feet tall, so I couldn't play basketball. I'm only 190 pounds, so I couldn't play football. And I have 20-20 vision, so I couldn't be a referee. ~Jay Leno

I am glad this thread was open since the one I started has been deleted....(I didn't know this one was already going). My beloved Lions have picked yet another receiver....at least this one is a "character" guy.

I liked the Lions pick with Johnson, but I think Detroit needs to spend their next pick on a QB to get the talented WRs they have the ball

I think the Browns did a good job getting both Quinn and Thomas.

I haven't been following things all too closely, but I think everyone's faith in Brady Quinn was shown today when team after team took a pass on him. THAT BEING SAID, I think the Browns did good in trading up to get him if they actually have some faith in him, and it wasn't because that is where Quinn wanted to be and the fans wanted to see him there, but I still think Quinn has "bust" written all over him. We shall find out. I think they gave up a bit much, though, in losing their 1st rounder (another top 10, in all likelihood) next year.

Bengals get Leon Hall, which I am ok with. I was kind of hoping for Reggie Nelson, but Hall was the highest rated CB in so many mock drafts and draft boards that you can't complain that the Bengals picked him up. He got burned bad against Ohio State and USC, which worries me, though.

I agree with you bulldog.. I had Nelson ranked way higher than Hall. Nelson reminds me alot of Sean Taylor from the redskins

I didn't really want Brady Quinn. I guess I'll just have to root for him now though.

I hope Leon Hall turns out like every other Michigan player the Bengals have drafted recently.

I must say that I was totally against taking Quinn with the 3rd pick. That was too scary for me. I was also very leary of giving up a first rounder next year with all indications saying that it will be a top ten pick probably.

With that being said, after thinking about it, IF the Browns had Quinn at 3 or 4 on their draft board, I think that this is a great move. Think about it. Even if they pick top 5 next year, they have a guy that they would have taken 4th this year. And, they get that guy for an extra year.

Also, I love trading up to get the CB from UNLV. Just what they needed.

This just in: Yahoo and ESPN reporting Randy Moss to the Patriots for a 4th round pick!

HOLY COW!!!

Guess they didn't have Corey Dillon anymore to be their player disgruntled at his former team, so had to trade for Moss...

Either way, killer deal for Patriots, dumb move by Raiders trading him in the middle of the draft instead of before so that they could have taken Calvin Johnson.

If Brady Quinn helps the Browns beat the Bengals this year-I will become the biggest Quinn fan!

(I've been told it wont happen though)

I wanted Revis over Hall. Ginn and Jarret burnt Hall up while Revis did pretty good when I watched him.

The Kenny Irons pick I have no idea what we were thinking with that pick.

Then we got a safety out of TCU named Marvin White.

Moss wanted out or wouldnt play, teams knowing this, they werent going to give anything for him knowing Raiders will have to set on him or give him up for nothing....He didnt like the coach, so said he would retire rather than play for him...now I think the Pats have to be the fav to win the superbowl next year....signing Stallworth and Moss with Brady...this team will be good....Moss ran a 4.3 40....

I have thought Troy Smith would be a great fit for Baltimore or Philly, since they have a QB that can run a bit while still pass the ball also. He would be able to step right in and the offense wouldn't have to change much for him. Here's hoping he does well.
