Lohse sure gave up a PILE of hits today to escape with only two baserunners. Glad the Reds won, though, any way you look at it!!!

Daisuke Matsuzaka...pretty sure that's the spelling...considering how often to have typed that last name searching for him around fantasy drafts and such, I know the last name is right at least! biggrin.gif

I'm pretty sure it's a "Shuuto" ball. It is somewhat like a screwball.

I thought they called it the "gyroball"...but, either way, people aren't hitting him much just yet...Give the MLB players some time and they'll figure it out a lil' bit.

That's what some call it but it is a shuuto which is usually mistaked with a gyroball. (According to Wikipedia so it has to be right rolleyes.gif )

Sorry Joe, Dunn won`t hit 60. He might strikeout 200 times though. popcorn.gif

BTW, if he could just cut down on those KO`s 60 might not be that far off. But I don`t think he`ll ever cut down much on those strikeouts. He reminds me a lot of another old time player Dave Kingman. A power hitter that hits for a low average and swings and misses a lot.

Dunn had 2 strikeouts today, a single, and a double.

Pirates 6
Reds 3

Milton gave up 4 earned runs.

What is going on with Major League Baseball? I hear that the Indians/Angels series is going to be played in Milwaukee? How dumb is that? How hard would it be to start the majority of the games these first couple weeks in warm weather locales or in domed stadiums? Why would anybody in Milwaukee pay to go see the Indians/Angles series? Why not just move it to Anaheim?

On another note...the Tigers arent looking so great so far-hopefully they will warm up with the weather...of maybe i am expecting too much-wanting them to win every game!!! smile.gif
