But then again maybe they won`t do what they did last year. Maybe this year they can win it all.

BTW, nice to see some Tiger fans on this site. We`ve been in hiding long enough. Feels good to get out talk Tiger baseball again knowing that they`re going to be a respectable team if not one of the best in baseball.

We just took it to the Indians tonight. We have had a successful spring training season.

the reds have one pitcher who didnt overachieve last year in harang. arroyo is overrated and who else in that staff is even half way decent? (i dont include homer bailey at this point). lohse and milton are horrible. their bullpen is pretty awful, with the exception of bill bray and todd coffey.
adam dunn is really this team's only consistent performer. he has an amazing ops and hr numbers, but does strikeout a lot. other than him they have griffey, who if he can stay healthy isnt the same player he used to be. He will still hit decently but is a detriment in the field, one reason they moved him to rightfield. they've never given freel consistent playing time, but i get the feeling he's more of a hustle guy than a numbers guy (excluding steals).
the mariners have better pitching than the reds on the basis of their bullpen and felix. the orioles definitely have a better pitching staff in bedard, cabrera, loweon, and their bullpen. the d-backs shouldnt even be on this list w/ a staff of webb, johnson, hernandez, and doug davis. all four who are better than arroyo. the rockies have a bunch of consistent guys who eat up innings, along w/ an established closer in fuentes, as long as the humidor works again, the rockies will be just as good, if not better than the reds pitching staff.
In the field, the d-backs have better players at every position except left field, and maybe catcher if ross repeats his performance from last year. the rockies have more big guns than the reds in holliday, atkins, hawpe, tulowitzki, helton, and a pretty deep pitching staff. if ianetta performs like they think he will, they could compete in the west.
so maybe si is off by a few ranks, but in my eyes they got pretty close.

I don't think they will win as many as last year, but should be in it all the way!
Oh, yeah, I am a Cubs fan too.
