Just curious as to who are the two scholarship players from Jennings and where are they going to college at? Thanks.

{but MANY of the kids have attitude problems and the same punishment is handed out to ALL no matter who it is....} The two quotes I have taken from your last post are quite contradictory. Many people have commented about how some players got away with things that others wouldn't.
Is it hard to coach your own son...or daughter for that matter? Yes, to a degree. I have coached my son in the past, and currently coach my daughter. Both of them will tell you that they catch more @%&!@*@^ than anyone else on their respective teams...one has to send a message that everyone is fair game - an equal opportunity disciplinarian if you will.
Yes the attitudes need to change but it is frustrating to the kids to see the "basketball stars" who never give the program a minute during the summer, and only one year of their high school career, break team rules while the kids who play every summer, who love the game, are the ones being made examples of.

Can't be easy taking over a program as down trodden as CHS's baseball. Wish the team - players & coaches the best of luck.

Makes sense to me too FCP. As I have stated previously, discipline needs to be fair AND consistent - simple as that.
I don't know what you are talking about with your "parents trying to control what he is doing" comment; that just boggles the mind. Also the comment directed toward the former coach was totally uncalled for.
I don't want this to turn into a pi$$ing match however. I know & like Coach Miller so I don't have any axe to grind there. It is just a fundamental difference in how we both define & execute discipline. Peace

I have never said selective discipline is a good thing....never!! I am just saying I that you guys act like it is selective and I dont think it is...how many of times did Kurtis get yelled out by Homier?? not as much as some would...it all depends on the player I guess....
