looks like ill have to get the ball rollin...

1.RUSSIA-District qualifiers last year graduate 0 from '06 team... led by Juniors jesse grogean and cale mceldowney, who averaged high 30's-low 40's last season...also help from derek francis, who shot and 80 at sectionals last year...also rumored to have freshman letterwinner brook schafer going out this year after skipping last year for cc...

2.BOTKINS-also district qualifiers last season, should be tough with dietz at the top...lost xavier counts, though...

3.ANNA-i would be sad too if i lost one of the top golfers in the state, but theyre young and always decent...

4.JACKSON CENTER-anthony morris and tyler white return as the one-two punch, but hurting after that...

5.FORT LORAMIE-lost 1 and two golfers, but shouldnt be too bad...
6.HOUSTON-Adkins is about the only optimism...
7.fairlawn- lathan ragland?

Well, Versailles is graduating a few seniors but they have quite a few juniors. Wes Drees, a freshman had quite a year last year and I think he can follow it up good. Drees' are born golfers.

Botkins, Russia, JC and Anna will all be on top. A 4 way tie maybe. Botkins JC and Anna will have an advantage playing Russia at their home course (if they do?) because Russia's game isnt nearly as good at the Oaks as it is at Stillwater. If Russia plays them at Stillwater you might as well give the title to them.
Loramie will have there most consistent golfer back, but the rest are quite inconsistent.
Fairlawn loses Edwards, but have some decent golfers, most recognizable Jace Hooker, coming back.
Houston loses some seniors and weren't very good to begin with. Best of luck to Cody Adkins.

As for the MAC. I know that Minster has a great program.
Versailles' Wes Drees is a stud already. He and the rest of the tigers will be rollin'.
New Bremen is alright but generally doesn't contend for the MAC title.
New Knoxville has a lot of basketball players on their team...which is number 2 in the state....theyre great atheletes, but does that make them good golfers?
I really don't know enough about the rest of the MAC, but I would certainly look for Minster and Versailles to lead the way.

Also, I think that Loramie has a couple of Drees' on the football team, but I don't know if they've ever golfed.

I'm sure they have. I know a couple of his cousins from FL and they are pretty good golfers.

No he won't. He worries to much about trash talking than actually playing golf. He also doesnt stay focused very well. How'd he hurt his shoulder? I've heard some interesting stories...none of which were really good.

I believe I'm related to the Albers. I'm know I'm related to some from Loramie but I don't really know them that well.

I can hold my own with my buddies now, I'm pretty sure I could hold my own with him as well. Anyways...I believe I did say that the most consistent golfer would be back, and that would be Albers. He is constantly in the low 40's. If he works he'll be a force and definitely anchor the team.
