How many are freshman??
It will be interesting to see how many of the upperclassmen stick around.
Why wouldn't the upper class players hang around? I would welcome back all the quitters also. This could turn the program around for a few years.

Sweet. The same in Ottoville. Heard 23 kids playing next year.

That is great news........as a Ottoville fan, you should be happy.....kids coming back, a lot of talent coming up, and a new coach.....sounds like everything is on the upswing!!!!!!!

I sure hope so, the kids & fans could be real happy. Well, maybe most of the fans. Thanks Flounder.

They should have consolidated together before they spent $150 million of the Ohio taxpayers' money to build both schools 10-12 years ago. Who would be the coach then? Rumors, rumors, he said, she said. Who cares?

$150 million? I don't remember that dollar amount.

OK, at least 50- 60 million, maybe you can get the amount since you live back there. New HS out here cost 100-125 million, of course they have 2-3,000 students. Ottoville & Fort Jennings should have consolidated many years ago, look at other areas in Van Wert & Allen counties. Lincolnview, Crestview, Parkway, Allen East, Upper Scioto, Tinora, Patrick Henry, just a few. They were all small schools, not much bigger than O/FJ are now. Enough said. Oh well, people in the area do not want it, so that is the way it is.

I agree 100 percent, both have several empty classrooms.

Sounds like a new elementary & junior/high school to me. "Empty" classrooms would become trophy rooms. :thumbup1: Or turn them into a headstart/preschool program.

Ottoville and FJ could combine and each of the new schools could be used as community centers for the respective towns.

You could take an All Star team from the PCL and not win a State Title .....

What does this have to do with this topic? Maybe PC could win if they could include O-G players with the PCL.

Miller City 1950 Kalida 1981 Fort Jennings 2000 Ottawa Glandorf won 2 or 3?. How many have the Bearcats Won = Zero
Leipsic runner up, Kalida runner up twice. Hey, what is your point? How many trips have the Bearcats made to Columbus? Zero?

I took FlightCrew's as in saying no one from Putnam County could win a Tittle, therefore defending the titles you listed.

Like he said, there's only 3 PCL teams win a State Title out of 8 schools? in how many yrs?
Throw OG in there and you have 3 more.
IMO the days of a public school from NW Ohio winning State are over.

Hey, I agree, but what is your point? What school do you represent? I have said this a 1000 times, it is very difficult to win a state championship, especially D-4 boys & girls. Everything has to fall in place and the team has to be lucky also. Thanks

Dude above said if Jennings and OV consolidated they would win a lot. I disagree.
