Did anyone see the boxing.gif in tonights game. This is censored.gif rediculous. I look for some suspensions to be awarded to those idiots. David Stern has got to be furious.gif about this.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this?

The foul was bad enought but Melo being a censored.gif and throwing that sucker punch and running. I hope he gets about 10 games for that. I watched this a couple of times and when he hit him things were cooling down a little and seen no need for the punch at that point. If he came storming in right away and punched him, a little more admirable. whistling.gif I just don't know what some of these guys are thinking now a days. I guess we all just need to live with the "thug" life banner in the NBA for the most part. thumbdown.gif I just hope Stern makes some good suspensions out of this. Not quited as bad as the brawl with the Pacers and Artest.

I think it was crazy and I am suprised it dont happen more....if you watch other contact sports you see alot of pushing and shoving and little fights here and there.....so what makes it different in basketball?? No I dont think it is right for this to happen but why would they make such a big deal out of it in 1 sport more than any other?? about 5 years ago you would see at least 1 fight a month...remember all those Knicks Heat games?? they used to have some squabbles every time they played....also why was mello still in in the first place?? they didnt take this directy into the fans and involve them this was just some intense building up with the awlful knicks....they are so bad that they were wanting to do something like that because there is reports Thomas told Mello to stay out of the paint about 2 minutes before the fight started...

Give Melo at least 15-20.

Give Mardy Collins 5 because he started it and he had already had a flangrant fould earlier in the year.

Jared Jefferies 10 for going psycho and trying to chase Melo down and all that.

JR Smith 5 for running at Nate Robinson.

Nate also 5 for tackling JR Smith and than chasing down Melo later.

I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head who was really into it like them so give them a 1 game suspension. Also, anyone who left the bench gets an automatic game suspension.

As I watched it, it looked like someone on the Knicks bench also came off the bench for a brief time before being yanked back. Whoever that is will get a game probably.

Nice pic tiger. After looking at that for awhile I think it looks more like a closed fist slap than a punch.

did he run away because he was scared or because he thought about it after he did it so he wanted to get away from it all???

I think he was scared. He took a cheap shot and then ran like a little baby.

My guess is that they are just finding out about the comments from Isiah since they just surfaced late this morning. It will be hard to do something to him based on reading lips though. I don't agree with what he did as you can clearly read what he did say though. My guess is one of the the Denver players would have to own up to him saying that and investigate from there.

Melo in my opinion was a total punk. He acted like a thug and threw a sucker punch and ran away like a pansy. The fighting had stopped and he thought he would be a tough guy. I would have suspended him for the rest of the season and fined him alone the $500,000. As for the other players I think their punishments were decent.

I changed my mind on Melo. I would've made it at least 30. Like you said, the fight had stopped and here comes tough guy Melo throwing a closed hand slap and now he's running away.
