Because if the shoulder is not healing properly he will be out for the year. Not speculation.. fact from a more than reliable source..

Sorry about that Doctor. Coach Lehman said today, he'll be back end of the month. I think that's a pretty reliable source too

The trainer said it was similar to Kevin Love's injury last year, and before I heard that, I was told if he needs surgery he's done for the year. I'm going to expect the worst unless I hear everything is OK.

If Singleton is done or severely hampered the rest of the season that will really hurt the Bulldogs long term. Having said that; watching them play Friday night against O-G they are as fundamentally sound as anyone in this area. I just wonder if they play on the road, will they be able to play the rest of the year with the passion and emotion that they showed on Friday. They shot lights out against O-G, but doing that long term especially away from the friendly confines of the "Dawg Pound" will be the telling tale going forward. I hope that Singleton does come back because I hate to see a good team get derailed because of injuries, even though that is part of the game.

Hopefully this is like last year when Kat was out a couple of a games and what was a good team who relied on one guy a little too much realized what they could do without him, then hit their stride once he came back.
If Kam's done, I'm not sure about the rest of the season. If he's only out a week or 2 this may be a blessing in disguise.

Bingo, in 8 home wins the average margin has been 21.6 points, in 5 away wins it's been 9.8 points (all 3 losses were away too, with 2 in OT).

With the tourney draw for the ONU(WBL) district just a week away could be interesting to see how it shakes out. You have the 10 WBL schools plus Bryan and Upper Sandusky. Upper sits at 15-0 but plays in a league with all D-3 and D-4 schools. They will also be up against the voting bloc of WBL coaches. I think Defiance will get the 1 seed and if OG can win its next 3 games and go into the draw at 16-4 they will be the 2 seed but 1 more loss will drop them to a 3 seed. Upper has a tough game at Shelby on Tuesday so they will either be 19-0 or 18-1 at the draw and is staring at a 3 seed. I see the rest of the seeds this way:
1-Defiance
2-OG
3-Upper Sandusky
4-Shawnee
5-Wapak
6-Bath
7-Celina
8-Elida
9-St.Marys
10-Van Wert
11-Bryan
12-Kenton
1-Defiance
2-OG
3-Upper Sandusky
4-Shawnee
5-Wapak
6-Bath
7-Celina
8-Elida
9-St.Marys
10-Van Wert
11-Bryan
12-Kenton

Agreed, the league that Upper Sandusky plays in is one in which you play everyone twice, which sometimes makes a team with a good record a red herring.
