if he wasn't making a broad statement about Kenton, then I apologize for getting worked up. But I have seen so many damn posts slamming Kenton that I may have taken it wrong. No I am not from Kenton but have many friends that are and trust me, they were just as disgusted with a lot of things that went on there.
This culture of coddled athletes goes on everywhere and it is wrong. not saying this led to Maty's issue, but I am sure it did not help.

ADog, We need posters like you to make statements and comments like you make. It gives the message board a little action and things to argue or I mean discuss. Need a little excitement on here now and then. Doesn't hurt to ruffle a few feathers now and then. Hopefully we are all men and try to understand and see others points of views but that doesn't mean we have to agree with it all the time. Keep up the good work ADog. Doesn't hurt for people on this board to try to keep me on my toes. If everybody on here would agree with me I would start to wonder what is going on. Heck, my wife doesn't agree with me half the time!

No, you were right, I was directing that right at Kenton

I have friends that have played and coached for Kenton and for Mauk directly. I've also been one of Fackler's biggest supporters.

Kenton has that culture more than other schools. I will grant you that this can happen in some aspect at many schools across the state.

Remember the kids from Kenton that put a fake deer in the road? Didn't a kid get paralyzed?

Remember the kid from Kenton that had steroids shipped to their home?

Both were slapped on the wrist.

Ben got away with some stuff, but Maty is/was on a different level entirely.

Thankfully Fackler is getting rid of some of that entitlement. Kenton may be down this year but they will be much better in the long run.

Agree with Flackler on right track. Just get pissed on a lot of the comments towards Kenton. During the incidents you mention there were some great kids who as well as the ones mentioned. They seem to get lumped in with all the rest

No clue. I hate doing this for high school because it's not like the NCAA where the money is worth bouncing around to a new job. Can a .500 coach be in trouble at a HS if there's no one noticeably better already living there or the school having a position opening? Terrible response, but there are too many factors that go into someone coaching HS vs W/L record like the NCAA.
