Thanks for the 13 pages of entertainment guys.

See you next year or the year after for the same circus and the same CR faithful blaming another coach. A high turnover rate isn't a symptom of bad employees, it's a symptom of bad employers. take it how you will... or just keep claiming that CR goes through coaches like underwear because no coach is good enough for CR, seems to be working out well for the program so far.

I'm not sure where you picked up the vibe the the CR community didn't think the last coach was good enough.?? He is the only one that chose to leave. No one was pushing for him to leave. I think he did a tremendous job and would make a very good coach somewhere, even at CR but he made the decision.

Bigbrownman, You really have no clue. This spans the last 24 years.......At least 6 out of the last 7 head football coaches at C-R chose to leave ON THEIR OWN.

The Sands in Las Vegas has put the "official" over/under at 2 yrs. and 6 total wins for the combined.....nice write up in the Courier to see where he hails from and his thoughts on the game......I see that Paint Valley was a short cup of coffee....probably playing Shadyside every year got him to looking for greener pastures....

For those keeping score at home-
Westanbarger- on his own. Coaching at a league school as an assistant next year?
Meyer- on his own. Currently assistant principal/athletic director at Napoleon.
Schafer- on his own. Currently head coach at Grove. After a rough start there deep run in playoffs last year.
Diller- is this the force out you referenced? Went from HC at CR to asst at Bluffton College. Now the head track coach at CR for track.
Hale- on his own. Lasted one year at CR. First time ever in the playoffs for CR- 2002.
Garlock- on his own. Another one year wonder at CR. Left for LB. Was their head coach for a good run, currently the Co-AD with Irwin.
Inbody- retirement? Does one define that as "on their own" or not???

Let's put it this way, sometime you are either told to resign (on your own) or we are going to fire you. Which choice would you make?

Looks good for the school to say we didn't run him out and looks good for the coach as he can say he wasn't fired! Pretty simple to understand!

I'm pretty confident that Weakly 9 1/2 All Pud's list is pretty accurate on the "on his own" reason for departure.

Almost.... the only one wrong is the first one. The "left on his own" is right, but the second part needs just a smidge of fixing up.

How about this? Eliminate the Question Mark at the end of the statement, so the last part reads: Coaching at a league school as an assistant next year.

Period.

Let me try....just guessing but, let go as teacher by CR. Teaching next year at school he will be coaching. Just guessing, but I thought it might stimulate a response.

This could be fun...

Week 10 opens up the final drive as OC with a solid play call for a 12 yard competition. Safety made a nice diving tackle to save the TD. 1st and 10 from your own 32. Clocks running.

Next play. Wing T double reverse pass to QB who is 10 yards behind nearest defender. Sucked them in with the WOODY ground game and went for the jugular. TD. LJ uses the aggressiveness of the defense against them. THE PROPHET HAS SPOKEN LJ

Quickileft or Quickiright were always good plays to run or if you like pass plays a 95-Z-Out or a 96-Z-Out, but if you want blood a 13 or 14 are the plays to run.

I'm about out of ammunition. I figured 6 out of 7 on the coaching carousel question was pretty good. Maybe I'll just run a couple safe plays and punt on this possession. It appears I have a solid lead over LJ.
