If we had a girls team I think anyone in the local soccer world would tell you we would be just fine . Boys on the other hand I hope we never find out lol.

Arlington athletics seem to be doing just fine Robert . Arlington and McComb would be villainized in this imaginary league for winning too often, it would never work lol.

Seem to be fine now. But what about 20/25 years from now after 7 more head football coaches, a half dozen other coaches that don't stick but still have teaching positions, parents that have to be recruited to coach minor sports that only last a season or two, shrinking enrollment, and a district full of voters that think your 90 year old building is just fine?

Agree with all this except... it won't take 20-25 years. I'd bet more like 10-12, 15 max. And I think I'm being generis.

Seems like we're going to have to wait a long time for these small schools to realize that consolidation is inevitable.

That is true. All the new buildings that have been built should last 50 years or so. LJ

I hear Mike Cramer is the front runner for the job and has already been at the school and attending boys basketball games to recruit and watch the boys in action.

I hope you are serious. "Kaz" would be a great fit. Hopefully C-R can create a position for him so he join the faculty as well.

agreed, if Mike Cramer comes aboard the Hornets will forget all about Spike Berry. Expect him to turn CR around the way he did Marion Local.

We're all familiar with the turn around that Cosmo started at ML. I'm sure CR would take the same results.

We've already got a number of coaches that are successful and don't teach at the school. Also enrollment is up from last year.

I've got bad news for all those rooting for the turnaround.....a few CR BOE members aren't on board the Cramer Express....this could be a tough sell in Hornet land. Not sure what the issue is, I was assured this was a done deal a month ago.. .

Stop, it's not the coach, it's the kids. You've got to address the first issue. If you have a good group of kids, you'll get good coaches. Control what you can control.

Common Sense, "Stop, it's not the coach, it's the kids. You've got to address the first issue. If you have a good group of kids, you'll get good coaches. Control what you can control. "

Lefty, "That is the point. There were never any numbers in the weight room before he resigned. They are spoiled sissies over there."

Camerncrazie90, "Lack of talent...and have you seen their facilities?"

This original thread purpose is not the circus........most of the uninformed posters are. To have a circus, you have to have clowns :pickles:.......and by golly, there are definately clowns posting on this subject. :pokey:

Of course you go right to slaming the kids. What do you really know about the Student Athletes at Cory Rawson?? What you read on here??? That is really some good information. Especially in this thread.

No one can sell themselves like Caz can. Get him in the interview with the board and it's done.
