Well, Shawnee stops accepting applications this Friday. We will soon (hopefully) see who they choose. Has anyone heard of anyone who has definitely applied?

Do they have a time table for a decision?

Well, the Board meets towards the middle or end of Feb. so I would hope they name someone by then. Otherwise, it would be a long haul 'til the next one.

It will probably take a couple of weeks to work through that whole stack of applications...

A WBL school that has had some success in the fairly recent past (though not the immediate recent past). I would expect that there would be quite a few applications. Any names being bandied about?

You would have lasted longer than one year.

How sure are you guys of this hire? I was hearing rumors of an ohio state grad assistant being offered.

Honestly, the cory rawson coach makes more sense to me with this situation than what I was hearing...lol

Wait, I'm confused.
Please select the most correct option below:
1) Cory Rawson is looking for a football coach too.
2) Shawnee hired a coach named (ironically) Cory Rawson.
3) Shawnee hired the coach from Cory Rawson.
4) None of the above.

I'll take a stab at this one. zip52 responded to 3 or 4 posts at once but since there are only two sentences in his post everyone is having trouble comprehending it.

Option One is correct- 100%.

Option Three might be correct but I doubt it. Although, I bet the CR coach isn't jobless for long.

Therefore, Option Four is out since at least one of the above is true.

Thread title is... Coach openings... not
"Who is Shawnees coach." Correct?

The ex CR coach is only jobless due to his choice.. not CRs

And the public reason is different than the one stated to the Super. and HS principle.

After only nine months on the job I really need to ask... who really quit on who?

After talking to some of the kids ( and I will ask ex coach when I see him) I think I have an answer.

I apologize for my misunderstanding. I had asked a question about the Shawnee search, then you responded "Cory Rawson."
I was unclear about your meaning.

Your first point is dead on.

Second point- What was the public reason? What was the reason stated?

Third question is rhetorical in nature but deserves an answer none the less.

Fourth point- let the RC Nation know.
