I'm not sure what the State of Ohio has to do with it. For athletic eligibility the OHSAA says you must declare a residence. No shared parenting or dual residency when it comes to the OHSAA. That would be a disaster for the OHSAA. I will say you maybe right on the shared parenting as far as the vouchers go.

You're absolutely right. For him to receive voucher money he needed to live the Lima School District. And if he lived in the Lima School District he should not be eligible for basketball. However, Quincy claimed he lived with his mother last year who resided in the Elida School District which would make him eligible for basketball.. If that is case one of two things happened, he either accepted illegal voucher money or lied on where he lived. You can not get voucher money and live in the Elida School District.
Live in Elida - Illegal voucher money
Live in Lima - Ineligible for baskeball
Which is it?

well, the picture is coming a little more in focus....last night at Bandito's in Lima we ran into an old buddy of
mine who mentioned something along the same lines. He also mentioned that the OHSAA might be looking into the
certain living arrangements of last season..Which brought up another scenario that we thought about....IF this is
an issue that the OHSAA is looking into, would LCC's 2014 state championship be forfeited much like Africentric's a few years back?......this story isn't going away just quite yet and if Dr. Jerry Snodgrass (well, he really isn't
a doctor yet) continues to dig just what might they find?......
In another story, has anyone noticed the number of current AAU coaches from around the state who have been attending
Spartan home games?....the next time they show highlights on TV pay particular attention to some of the gentlemen
sitting about 2 rows up behind the bench.....I noticed them last week and one looks like he has a jacket on that
clearly looks like a Nike jacket with a Columbus area AAU affiliation......I only mention this because I had
predicted this was going to happen when others around the state came to the realization of what was possible.....
