Looks like Blue(balls)Jay is public enemy number 1 for Grove fans. We get it Marion Local is good. Then again you said Arlington was good last week. Do you have any credibility left?
Arlington was a good team. Even if they had won, I would have taken ML in a landslide this week.

As for credibility left, I believe that it was I who first said Minster would go very far in the tournament this year here. ;)

If Marion Local has any type of weakness whatsoever it is pass defense. Minster threw it up and down the field for about 2 and 1/2 qtrs. Then Marion adjusted. Marion gave up the most points they have all year in that game, a 56-28 win. I wanna say it was 42-28 at the end of 3. But no one has run on ML this year and no one will. But considering Grove doesn't have nearly the team Minster does, it will get out of hand early.

I wish the Dogs the best of luck against Marion Local this Saturday. This time of the year everyone is good, or they would not be there. Irregardless it is gonna take a perfect game both on the offense and defense to prevail against a team who some say would win in a couple of divisions higher then D-7. Marion Local is just a different animal then most teams and their dominence against Coldwater in the regular season especially on the defensive end just spells nothing but trouble for the Dogs. It could happen but highly unlikely.

I watched jefferson beat grove 36-0. Grove has solid athletes and size for a D7 school, but let's be real here homers, Marion will put this game away at kickoff. I hope the grove fans show up and support their team despite the outcome of this game as it's been a huge turn around story for their season and their team should be applauded for making it a lot farther than most people thought.

You didn't see the same team that has been playing the past 4 weeks. grove is totally different than he team that played Jefferson. I'll admit we were awful that night, but we turned our season around after that game.

That's very clear but Marion local will still win handily. Grove had a great season and I'm sure they will fight this week but the result will still be substantial.

Actually Marion can run and pass. Excellent RB in Jacy Goettemoeller-but he is complimented by the fullback-can't remember his name and the QB Rethman can run and throw. Bruns is a big (6'-6"?) receiver or tight end. Weubker is the speedy receiver.

The thing that makes them tough though? Their defense. They get off the bus blitzing. Big and fast all over the field.I bet Grove has not seen linebackers as fast as ML's.
We have Jacy Goettemoeller #13, Aaron Nietfeld #25, Dustin Rethman #10, Ryan Bruns #9, & I think you meant Hunter Wilker #21 leading the Flyer offense. I know for a fact that our boys are not overlooking the Columbus Grove Bulldogs, nor do they think that just because they show up, they will win! Good Luck to both teams, may we have an injury free game, but I wish more LUCK to the Marion Local FLYERS!!

I ate crow last week saying I thought the game with SL would be somewhat close. I though Marion would win it by 2/3 touchdowns late in the game, It was over after the first series. I just can't see ML losing and I will leave it at that.

Grove has been playing lights out defense during the playoffs and they shouldn't be overlooked by the Flyers. Grove has the best chance in my opinion to knock off these Flyers.

The big question is will Grove have the basketballs on the bus to practice on the way home
