That probably a very good idea for a lot of people. Maybe people should charge parking like they do at Canton. lol

The past scores do me something. Getting over the mental edge of beating someone is huge for 15-18 year olds. If you've lost to the same team you're whole life, if you get down 10-0, 14-0 early, difficult to circle the wagons.

Rettig is very good.

QB was elusive but didn't protect the ball when scrambling....only a matter of time for the huge fumble.

If season ended now, looks like 6 BVC teams would make playoffs. Not bad for being Barley Varsity

Tough one for the Red Devils last night. Too many missed opportunities in 1st half when they dominated line of scrimmage, time of possession and plays ran - only to walk away 7-7 tie at half. 2nd half, LB made some good adjustments and dominated the 3rd quarter. Look at the stats - very close in all categories which equaled a good overall game. The opportunity was there, the kids just couldn't run with it and hopefully this will serve as an eye opener in big games - you just have to make plays when you can. Last night, LB looked like the more seasoned team as they took every opportunity and cashed in when they had to. Time to move on. On another note, the "other" division looks like VB will win - how does that feel? Put the league the way it should be (all 11 teams in one division) and VB is a 3rd place team behind LB and Arlington.

QB play was the difference. LB completes 7 or 8 passes for almost 200yds. Arl completes 7 of 18 for 59yd. and had 3 turnovers at the QB position. Not to mention all the negative yards from scrambles.

Maybe next time inside the 20 line up under center and feed your horse of a RB and get your fullback involved, which is a great athlete, behind a big physical line.
