Yeah I am curious how the lifting is going. You seem to either know the kids lifting, or are older and have a kid or kid of a friend present. Are they lifting everyday, or is it a lot different compared to the previous staff?

Is it just the type of workouts, is it how often they workout, or are they not working out nearly as hard?

4 days a week with running in the hour before then lifting. I'm told they work a lot harder.

Talked with Schoelien and he said the workouts are longer with more lifts and reps. Said with it starting at 9 more kids on time. He sounded excited about the season.

Does anyone know yet if coach is in town now, or is he still finishing stuff up in Bucyrus?

Beezer, Why are you always doom and gloom. Does it matter if he is living in Wapak yet? He has been here for a few weeks running the program. He is running the work outs and has already had the youth and junior high camps. Give the guy a chance! There aren't a lot of houses for sale that big for his family right now. Look in the mirror for once! Over and over again you complain about the people of Wapak wearing on coaches and running them out of town! Have a little faith for once ! Wow!

Now that made me laugh.

I heard from the start he was having issues finding a home. That is understandable as much as we hope to succeed (which we will) you can't knock on the guy for taking care of his family first. As long as someone was in there, and as long as they were working hard is the main thing. It isn't as if they can have full practices right now anyways.

Once again I love the Moyer hire I have guys who work for me telling this is a special coach we have now. I still to this day love what Frye did for Wapak the record speaks for itself but once he left for that other school in Auglaize county time to move on. With Patterson leaving and Moyer still tied up at his old school you would be concerned that lifting might be behind. Im happy after talking with the Schoelien kid that things are well and these kids have a bullseye marked on the calendar at a certain game at the end of the season. If anyone would like to discuss in person going to the holy rosary fest all weekend hard to miss should be wearing my Dallas Cowboys gear hit me up.

I can easily see where your concern's come from. As I said earlier though the only thing the kids can be doing right no is lifting and as long as other coaches are in their and making them work harder than ever I am fine with it. Now if they are slacking because the main coach sin't there then I would have an issue, but as I believe dart said earlier he has been there so it is fine.

I have connections to Moyer on a more personal scale and they have told me even before the hire the type of guy he is, so I have 100% complete faith in what he is going to do to the program. I still remember when the guys texted me when he got hired (They were some of the first he contacted after accepting the job) how they thought our program could become even better than what it was under Frye.

That is what I have been told that the program should be even better with Moyer as coach.

Not really but when I have my girls with me I stay out of trouble not going to put them in harms way with my mouth.

Talked to a coach last night. Asked how it was going with Moyer that he is around. He said all the bucyrus guys are great guys. Seem like great football minds. And my favorite quote, "the kids are getting their butts kicked for 2 hrs/day, I can tell you that!".
Haha I love that!
Goes along with what I've been hearing, that Moyer is working them harder than frye WITHOUT all the yelling and downgrading.
Getting fired up for the season to begin!
