Or this could come (somewhat ) full circle and Bath grad and Lima Sr. JV coach Brock Howe could take it.

My sources heard that jamar and Townsend were the only coaches that would be back. Will be replacing the rest.

Not if Ron Williams is there they won't. Class guy who I get the impression isn't all that thrilled with all these guys transferring in anyway.

Exactly where did they "transfer in" from? All 3 boys in question went to the Catholic elementary schools in Jr. High and have been at LCC since day 1 of their high school years. So.....the only transfer would be from LCC to Lima Sr if that happens.

X played for the lima panthers back in midget football. If he was in the catholic school system he would have played for st. Charles, lcc whatever school it was. Most leagues have the rule that you must play for a team where you go to school.

There are tons of kids from St. Charles and St. Gerards who play for the Steelers, Bruins, Hornets, etc. in the City League.

You guys can make all of the "transfer back," "LSCC," "recruiting," etc. comments you'd like. The facts are that 99% of you don't know anything about any of the kids at LCC (or any school other than your own) or their families.

I've seen MyKale Rogers, Corey Stewart, and Xavier Simpson ALL referred to as vouchers and "belonging" to LSH, yet MyKale and Corey have been in the Catholic School system since preschool and their parents went to LCC (and ARE NOT voucher students!). Additionally, Xavier didn't transfer to LCC from LSH and is also NOT A VOUCHER!

Still, you all will come on here and say "look at the demographics of LCC's team compared to 5 years ago" and cry "recruiting" and "voucher" when you see 6 black kids warming up on the floor with "Catholic" on their jerseys. All of your "knowledge" is based on what you are assuming about kids. It's unfair to them, and an insult to your own intelligence.

No it doesn't but like I said MOST midget leagues have the rule if you go to the school you must play for that schools team even in midget football. How could he play for a city league team if he was in the catholic school system was my question?

Well, first of all, it has been established that he wasn't at St. Charles until 7th grade, so I'm not sure why you're talking about midget football. As stated, X attended Golden Bridge Academy prior to attending St. Charles.

Second, there are kids from Elida, Shawnee, Bath, Perry, Lima, and the Catholic schools that participate in the Lima city midget football league every year. I don't know what rules you're talking about (maybe kids have to play for their own school within a particular league?), but it doesn't apply to Lima city midget football (where teams are not associated with any school) and kids are not bound to play in a particular midget football league. That's absurd, and so are you for even making this an issue.

I can see the scene now...LCC talent scouts at local midget football games reporting via radio to the Vatican.
"this kid is a solid prospect...10 years old and a solid 4'1", built like a brickhouse...we better get him on the payroll, ASAP! Offer a free premium education, a jumbo pack of Lego's and 10 free happy meals, STAT!"

Welcome back LCC fans...took a couple days to collect your thoughts... So what is the word? Do they stay or do they go? Will LCC need to change their academics in order to attract quality athletes? Or is status quo enough?
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Dman- From the few T-Bird supporters that I've talked to,they expect Cobbs and Simpson to probably leave,Walton they think may stay. And,unlike many think, they are not that disappointed that they may leave although they say they are really good kids..

This whole ordeal has a new twist to it everyday. LSH supposedly is getting 4 out of the area transfers all basketball players via the AAU route for next year. They may not have enough basketballs to go around. These four are not your run of the mill level players. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
