I think that person who Koza was talking about was Hutchins....
Niekamp is not returning to the Lima scene.....

Certain individuals here seem to think QQ is the applicant of choice....
The RM feels differently however......we have made our bed and now I'll

BEFORE the decision is made, we need to have a serious chicken and egg discussion. IF Quincy lands the job...

Does this mean that LCC's academics have been in a slow decline? Or will LCC's academic status collapse overnight like Donald Sterling?

Well, Quincy did interview for the job yesterday.....he was seen leaving with someone else....
it also looks like he was the last one of the 4 candidates who were given interviews.....

Decision will probably be made sooner, rather than later as all the chips are now on the table.
The biggest chip that Q holds in his possession is also the one that nobody feels comfortable speaking
about.....IF he does not get the position you can bet there will be a real uprising in the community.
Whether that is enough to sway the committee remains to be seen.....they now are behind the 8 ball with
no where to run or hide.....

I don't think they could/would tie the coaching offer with the promise that his son leave the academics of
LCC behind and travel down Market St. to a school with a failing academic situation....I guess we will find
out that truth rather soon also.....

Crunch time is here folks, and we expect an answer before this weekend if all the reports coming back from
Spartan Way are true......stay tuned, RM

No way they pass on Q twice. Wouldn't even give him an interview if they weren't going to hire him. IMO interview process of multiple candidates was to save face from accusations from LCC directly to senior high. They know what they're getting.

All so interesting..... Best of Luck to whomever gets it. The LSH website says special board mtg May 8th! (Next Thurs). Could be announced sooner but nothing is official until it's on the board minutes AND gets approved! Also the last board mtg had bowling in their for next year- nothing about golf. Could sway Davis as well. Man I would rather follow this topic than the Sterling situation. Hahahaha

They only interviewed 4 people? Any word on Doug Davis? is it down to those 2? I Heard Davis knocked his interview out of the park any truth to that rocketman? Don't jump off your Doug Davis ship yet, but I'm still sticking with Q I think he gets it.

didn't know about the special meeting planned on May 8 but it makes perfect sense after we were told the
announcement could come by the weekend.....I actually think we'll know Thursday evening as this seems to be
a good day for sports news in the Lima area....everybody is out and about getting ready for the weekend and
such....I might have to make a drive over towards Lima tomorrow or Thursday just to see if I can rattle my
sources again......a couple of weeks ago they "clammed up" after they found out they were being watched closely..
this is one of the toughest calls the RC has had to make in quite some time....probably going back to the Miller
City opening after McGlauthlin left for OG....oh and Flound, have you heard from Slicer in the last
few weeks? I know that she goes into hibernation after bb season but I've been by the house a few
times and haven't seen her out gardening or lazing by the pool.....RM

Heard the AD and The Koza had dinner together to discuss the candidates. Not sure if this is accurate but I would talk to koza and ask if he thinks Q or DD and I'm guessing no one will know til early next week.

Over/under on Spartans coming back home when Q is hired should be the real question, current 8th graders to current 11th graders enrolling before next school year.

I'm thinking 6.5 is good number.
