you were somehow doubting the reasoning behind my statements that LCC needed to have Shawnee hire Mr. Palte
before he would be able to accept the head coaching position at LCC.....well, based on this upcoming week's
BOE agenda this appears to have been taken care of.....

Some of you think we are just pulling sheet out of the air when making comments towards LCC and how things
work....this is how we said it would work, and vola'....this is exactly how it worked out....
I would expect an announcement by the "real media" sometime next week....for those of you who don't
appreciate the RC and our feelings toward LCC, I am a little bit sorry.....thanks to everyone from Shawnee
who were able to keep feeding me the intel without "outing" yourselves......RM

Shawnee isn't hiring Palte to sit on the sidelines..
This contract is only valid if he accepts the LCC gig....The CC'ers have spoken...

I don't think they want to take anything away from the bball team right now....
they will probably wait until Monday before making the announcement to the "real media"...

we should all just go over to Coach Palte's this weekend and congratulate him for pulling
off this coup...he is going to get about a $20,000 raise in salary by joining the Shawnee
school system as an administrator, and then tack on another $7-10K for accepting the coaching
job....(what, you think he is going to coach for less than Kill?).....this will provide
very nicely for his family and kudos for him in getting this done....RM

PS oh, and a chance to stick it to Grove ain't all bad either!

Everything you are "reporting" has been known among the LCC community for weeks. If "breaking" this story 3+ weeks after it was largely known by the relevant community feeds your ego, so be it...

Be sure to remind everyone that they "heard it here first" if Simpson, Davis, Whitney, or Adams is hired for the LSH job, since someone mentioned them in a thread and said they had "sources."

I am by no means part of the "LCC elite," and I know I've discussed it a number of times with others who are not part of the "LCC elite," so you're wrong.

The RocketCorner provides a great service and resource for high school sports discussion. I enjoy coming here to read up on the latest gossip, rumors, opinions, and going-ons regarding (mostly) northwest Ohio athletics. However, having a bunch of anonymous posters throw $h!t at the wall does not turn into "RocketCorner Reporting" when one "rumor" out of 100 sticks. If you want credit for "breaking" a story, write an article or post it on your main page and stand behind your work, rather than saying you "reported" it because "mysteryman" claimed he had "reliable sources."

I know it really doesn't matter - who cares who "broke" the story? I think with all of the LCC bashing and rumor-mongering you do, you just get under my skin (although I understand that you really only do it to drive traffic to your website), so it bothers me when you unfairly stroke your ego.

Here's to hoping you're pulling for the Birds at State today as you've suggested on other threads. Maybe Frankie will get a technical to cost his team the game?! - that would really get you to "stroke your ego."
