correct, is this an advantage for LCC since they played their district games at ONU? :sarcasm:

Wasn't Frank Kill just on Koza a few days ago saying it was a big advantage that OG played their regional and districts at BG?

ONU is the least favorite venue for anyone who has ever been there, poor viewing for fans, parking not good & especially bad for 2nd game parking.

ZSL apologized on Twitter for 'jumping the gun' with the premature announcement. Sounds like it should have been ignored...

Lol....yes, your "guess" was right. Ease up Zoesdaddy....... I wasn't ripping Zsportslive....but at the time, you said it was cancelled....and others who I guess I would consider to be a little "more connected" were saying the info was wrong. You know how word spreads.....one person hears "it's cancelled"....and within minutes, 100's of people are hearing the same thing. I was posting to inform people who may have heard that it was cancelled that it wasn't....nothing more.

3 teams benefit from this move to ONU...the exception being Huron. They have a 2 hour drive easily now

People say that ONU has poor sightlines and parking. LB is too small. Perrysburg might be too far for Worthington Christian. I even know of a few people who don't like Stroh at BGSU.

It seems like everyone wants the perfect site, but IMO, it's just not attainable.

With the size of the crowds that LCC and Worthington Christian will bring, OG and Huron fans really don't have to worry about parking issues. Heck, they probably wouldn't even have to make it a split session....:)

Just go play it at Robb Park. LCC would fit in just perfectly there

I was at the LCC game Sat night and was suprised by the crowd they brought. It wasn't sold out, but I'd say it was at least 3/4 full. Maybe their crowd comes out of the woodwork and jumps on the bandwagon at the district level :shrug2:

ONU's AD Tom Simmons said on 93.1 that it will be a split session because OHSAA told them.

ONU is a total turd. Ada HIGH SCHOOL is a better place to watch a ballgame.

You're just saying that cause if it was at Ada HS there would be a "secondary market" for tickets.....lol

To bad they called them off. It would have been a nice night to watch some ball!

Yep, too bad they didnt endanger the lives of the teams from Ottawa, Huron, and Worthington just to get a couple of games in. What were they thinking?

The fact that 75 was good and/or LCC woulda made it is meaningless. Contrary to popular belief, 75 isnt the only road and Lima isnt the center of the universe.......

This is what many seem to not to understand.....
For some that live in VERY rural, untraveled areas, getting access to the main drags can be very difficult (and dangerous, throwing in the bitter-cold dropping temps, once again) because our roads are not treated NEARLY as well as even "secondary main" roads. Getting to the decent roads can be a huge feat.
There's been many a time that my road has not been touched (other than neighbors with plow blades) for up to three days before we ever see a plow~~although, I do admit, my township has done a much better job the last few years.
It's just not the same for everyone.
