Yes, met him last week. Thinks this is a great opportunity it do big things.
Talked to some parents who were at the meeting on sat. They came away very impressed. Put a lot of responsibility on the seniors to the leaders and make sure everybody is in the weight room. Said there are NO excuses for missing lifting.
Side note- one of the parents said they heard 2 or 3 kids that didn't play football last year or two are coming back out. One of the names mentioned was Colton Brown. Not sure if true or not, just what they heard
Is good to hear
Would not surprise me to see that be the case more often than not
Colton was a nice player as a youth , will help the team if true

Was talking to one of the coaches from Frye's staff and said he is very impressed with Moyer. He also said he doesn't expect Patterson to be back with the team.

I also heard that Coach Patterson will probably wont be back and feels he was disrespected by the administration.

I am not sure why Patterson would feel disrespected though, it isn't like he has been an assistant coach for 20 years here and has been patiently waiting.

I can see his point but also it is not like Wapak hired a coach with little experience. A coach like Moyer is a cant say no to coach is he puts in for the job. Off the topic but congrats to the Wapak Bowling team on winning Wapak's first team state title.

If Patterson isn't coming back who is running the offseason program until the end of the year?

He may still very well be on board for next year, but have hear from some teachers in the system he is looking hard for other coaching opportunities.

Im ready for some football once college basketball season is over theres nothing left. My Cowboys have been killing me the last 10 years and my Tarheels are average in football. Need my Redskins to keep winning give me hope with one team.

Do you just throw darts on a map and wherever it lands closest to is who you root for?

Don't understand the question since I have been a Cowboys fan since childhood my grandpa was a fan. Tarheels fan since 1982 when I watched the UNC vs Georgetown championship game.

Actually there is a whole world out there beyond the Ohio border.

It just felt like a random collection of teams. I could care less who you root for.

Who will be some of the new players to step up this year on both sides of the ball?

Like LB Landon Hall. State qualifier in wrestling, so you know he is tough. Dad said is excited to hit the weight room hard and put on some good weight. Not a new guy but DT Corey Crawford could help us have a very solid D. Good size and quickness. Combine him with Schoenline (BEAST) and that is a good Dline.
Got some oline openings but not sure of the younger kids names. Look for new names at RB like Jared Cockerell, Aaron Chambers, or Colt Merricle to combine with Metz and Henderson.
