These two teams played on a regular basis in the regular season from 1981 to 2003 and a few times here and there before that. The all time series is 22-7 in favor of OG. Though the two schools are 2-2 in tournament with Paulding winning twice in the 1970's versus OG and the titans taking both tournament games in 2000 and '01.

Who wins Saturday at BG?

Common opponents were: Bryan(both wins), Defiance (both losses), Grove ( OG win, Paulding lose), Bluffton (both wins, titans X2).

I realize OG has a tradition of being a hoops powerhouse. But from watching Paulding and their defensive prowess, there's no doubt Paulding can beat OG. It gonna be a barn burner.

Probably Paulding's best shot yet to get to regionals, considering this isn't exactly the strongest of OG teams. This will be a great game and I personally like Paulding by a little bit. For no real reason, just my gut talking.

Strength of the non league schedules will bode well for the Titans in this game. Titans will pull away in this game because of this. Paulding will hang around in this game for awhile, but the Titans have seen the matchup zone defense so much this year that they should be able to figure it out. Also the physicality that Paulding has is not new to the Titans. Titans go to the regionals to play the Huron Colonel Crawford winner.

The Harder boys will be decent down low. This game should come down to hustle plays and who has the most momentum in the 4th quarter.

The last time Paulding boys made it to regionals was 1965. Nearly 50 years ago, as they play a team that wins districts on a yearly basis.

John Paulding was over 6 feet ,with 19 children, so I would imagine his kin shoud be tall. Go Titans.

Yes, not exactly a basketball masterpiece. Very difficult to watch, but close game between 2 evenly matched teams. OG toughness, and closing out the game with solid foul shooting was the difference. Something to be said for OG going to the regionals for the 12th time in the past 20 years.

Paulding never been to regionals.
