Lots of changes for this upcoming season ....

Kenton, Wapak and St. Marys all break in new coaches (I don't know if you'd call Frye at SM "new")

Wayyy too early season prediction:

1. Wapak
2. Kenton
3. OG
4. Celina
5. Defiance
6. SM
7. Elida
8. Shawnee
9. Bath
10. VW

Thoughts?

St. Marys has kids smaller than Wapak's Midget teams playing.

Could we possibly get a poll going on this topic if we are starting it already?

I think Elida will be at 3 or 4 spot. They bring back 10 returning offensive starters. They have 6 on defense and all the secondary is back. Will be interesting to see how the come back this year. Senior lacked leadership last year and I talked to some Juniors going to be seniors and they said 5-5 will not happen again. They were embarrassed and felt like the let the community down.

Elida should be a good team this year. Offense should be really good.

Yes when you bring every back but your running back you should be better lol. Wapak, Kenton, and OG will be tough games. I think SM is two years away.

I'm not sure Defiance can finish top half this year. Batt's gone, Guilliam's gone. Most of the lower levels won last year, but I'm not sure they have enough next year. It'll take a much more consistent run game and a defense that can at least make a stop here and there.

Not bad standings in my opinion Wapak's the team to beat Celina is good. Kenton will be down a bit I think. OG will be decent like always. If Elida's offense can put up points consistently and the linebackers and secondary play like they did at times last year they will be tough.

Why not? A lot coming back on both sides of the ball. I'm old school so Kenton is the team to beat until they get dethroned.
Celina and Elida will also be very tough.

Wapak will be good but face tuff competition. Bellefontaine will be really good possible best team we play and OG and Celina and Elida will be Tuff. These seniors will do everything in their power to take stmarys to the woodshed

Way to early to be putting Wapak as the top dog in the WBL. We have a new coach and possibly a new approach to the way Wapak plays football. Frye said several times Wapak needs to learn how to win then expect to win. Wapak has always had a issue with staying consistent even when they had a lot of talent back. Frye brought a tough program where the was no excuses you played hard you practiced and lifted hard. No one here can guess what approach Moyer will have with a bunch of kids he has never met or seen developing.
