Your love for Frye really makes me sick
He won some football games while he was in Wapak ...so what??
Those wins came with a downside and if you don't get that you will NEVER understand
There are many coaches that can win, lead our kids and not have that downside
Honestly.. I feel that he s@#$ on this community before he got here, s@#$ on his while he was here and s@#$ on us when he left

First off. Its good to know that they are "your" Redskins, as if, parents of players have no insight of the Frye program
Secondly. I have never posted what I think you are saying...Your slobbering has been well documented by your own posts including an assinine comment about Frye coaching basketball instead of supporting coach Selvey that will win and actually wants to be here
Finally, I'm glad that I can warm your heart. Now if only I can get you warm your brain before posting

Good info. I think Speller arrived at WT as the head coach in 2004. His career record is like 10 games over .500 but 13 of his 43 career victories came this season. Burgbacher wasn't the coach at FL as far back as your stats go. He became the HC in 2009 I believe. Took the Redskins to the playoffs every season, usually being eliminated by a MAC school (particularly Marion Local). Im not sure when Moyer's 1st season was at Wynford but I do know he was not the coach of the 2012 and 2013 football teams due to his resignation a few years ago.
I still feel like Burgbacher will get the nod. Moyer probably has had the better career in terms of length and # of victories of the three, however, I feel that with him being out of coach for 2 seasons and not being "local" will hurt his chances. Burgbacher is some what local, which I think will help him. I think Speller will come up short, although he is the dark horse candidate in my opinion. He is coming off a state runner up, so he is probably the "sexy" candidate right now.
I do tend the laugh at many of you guys who are viewing Wapak as a "destination" job. Over the history, the Redskins have won 2 playoff games. All of the good coaches they have had have left after a few years or they have average talent and coaches paired together, which leads to the coach being ran off after a few seasons. How many coaches has Wapak had in the last 25 years? Seems like they are constantly losing their coach. It probably has something to do with unrealistic expectations. In all honesty, Wapak can probably hope to compete for a WBL title 3 or 4 years out of every 10 and will make the playoffs and win a game or two (maybe). To me, that is the ceiling at Wapak. So to act like this is a "destination" job is a bit extreme. But, don't get me wrong, the community and facilities are top notch and one I would definitely have no issues raising my family in. I just think there is more being put into this job then what should be.
